We really loved our stay, would definitely stay again
Pros:

we loved the location and we also loved how we got upgraded to the ocean view room, the apartment was a really good size

Cons:

we didn’t like how we had to wait till 2pm for check in and when we got there at 9am from our flight they just told us to leave our luggage in the lobby which we didnt feel was safe.

Never again in this resort ~ apartment 28 was absolutely putrid
Pros:

The location was ok: walking distance to Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach. The tram was also walking distance easy and quick access to popular areas without the need to use our car.

Cons:

**Very disappointing stay — and zero communication from management **

I stayed in **Apartment 28** from **27 Dec 2025 to 2 Jan 2026**, and the condition of the unit was far below an acceptable standard for the price paid. On arrival, the apartment had multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues, including dust, crumbs, dirty microwave, unvacuumed carpet, mould on the shower screen, cockroaches, and an unclean balcony with dying plants and even someone’s underwear left outside. Housekeeping attended the next day but only completed partial cleaning.

Since checking out, I’ve submitted a **formal complaint** and followed up several times. Despite this, I have received **no meaningful response, no update, and no timeframe** from management. For an issue this significant, the lack of communication has been extremely disappointing.

Future guests should be aware of these concerns, both with the apartment’s condition and the resort’s failure to address complaints.

People whom own these Units should be checking in on them to make sure the up keep is being carried out
Pros:

Stone throw to the beach

Cons:

Parking was too tight, Spa wasn’t working.
Stove top also not working.
No vacuum to do the floor. Mop & bucket that was useless, had to ring the mop by hand.
Old Curtains with major holes in.

Great comfortable stay. Would return.
Pros:

I stayed here for work. Quiet, great location, good facilities in the room. A little old yes, but everything was in good working order and I was comfortable. I didn't use it but I thought the library in the foyer was a great addition.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind. I would have liked to try the pool & gym facilities but my work schedule did not allow for it.

The property is close to beach and only 1km from Broadbeach eating areas and shopping centre. It was only a 5 min walk to Light Rail to get you into Cavell Ave one way or 2 stops from Casino and Pacific fair shopping centre

I love Surf Parade and have been staying there for years, but Unit 64 needs some serious attention to be charging almost
Pros:

The location was ideal but the unit was dreadful. Please see emails to staff for more details.

Cons:

Dated. Dirty. Lack of anything in the unit, including working wifi, fans, remote controls. The bath had holes in the sides of it. The oven is ancient. Not even a spare blanket.

wasn,t worth the dollars. too many issues

no flyscreens.cleaning checkover lazy. completely inadequate shower screen left water flooding floor.lack of bathroom privacy. no coathangers. tv not working was replaced, so many maintenance issues to list.spa broken. eventually got looked at. management often ignored intercom outside and after hours call service needed several calls to activate. For Accomodation at this cost it was very annoying to have to address many issues. there are better places, PS, Microwave was filthy in side, hadn`t been cleaned since last guests,

I enjoyed staying here. It was very comfortable. Easy to get to, I would definitely stay here again.
