The property was poorly managed. Sheets and towels are very old. Building is deteriorating. Poor cleanliness, and Staff are unskilled.

Only advantage was it was close to t nagar so shopping was made easy

Very rude front desk staff. Not helpful and very lazy too. No water supply in the room toilet. Some one came after so many calls and got water flowing only in wash basin taps . Very poor . Not worth for the money. Stayed only one night

One of the room boy stole my sun glasses.

It was a nice stay at Southern Crest, this is my third time I stayed here. Best part is breakfast they serve a decent breakfast other than local food.

Hotel location was very convenient. House keeping needs improvement. In room coffee/tea replenishment needed reminder.WiFi connection goes off,often,needs attention.

I have stayed several times in this hotel and always have enjoyed my stay. The staff specially Mr Parthiban have gone out of the way to make our stay great. The location of hotel is close to shopping area of usman road, the morning breakfast is extensive, wifi is free with decent speed, rooms are big and with air condition. I would stay here again and highly recommend it!

The management of this hotel is not upto the expectation. They are charging extra amount over whatever we have paid already at the time of check in. And are not able to give any explanation of that charge. Never like to deal with such hotel management.

Food was good because of good cook. Good service ! Staff need to improve their comn skills for non Tamil speaking guests.

Good location - easy walk to main shopping area. Comfortable and friendly staff. Food was good but not much variety. Hotel does not have "travel desk" unlike some other hotels in Chennai ie no ready access to tourist activities in Chennai. If I travel again I would stay there.

Everything was great. Ambiance, staff, food and moreover at the heart of the city. Definitely recommend this.

This hotel is adjacent go pondy bazaar and get new chetty road lots of eating and shopping options

It was a pleasant stay except for the night of 21/7/13 night staff was rude when I checked in and my taxi fare to airport was wrongly quoted. Taxi man demanded for 120/- for that then the fare I was informed.
