Strong, unpleasant smell from Bed linen. We guess not properly washed or dried before storage.
Malfunctioning air con in room. Noisy party beneath room window until 2300.

Hotel furnishings and decor cheap and tired (e.g . MDF breakfast table tops!). Hotel in desperate need of refurbishment and not at all like photos on Booking.com

The hotel is in a pleasant location with nice surroundings and good facilities. The breakfast was decent, and the staff member on duty in the morning was friendly and professional when I raised my concerns.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness was well below expectations. The first room I was given appeared not to have been properly cleaned, with dirty towels left on the floor, hair in the room, and an unmade bed. I was moved to a second room, but this was also not as clean as I would expect. Given the price and rating of the hotel, this was very disappointing. Although a member of staff acknowledged the issue and tried to help, no compensation could ultimately be offered because the booking was made through Booking.com.
Great place for a short or long stay if you like golf. View is great. Rooms are very spacious and quiet. Bed is great.
