European/western style bathrooms, excelent cost to benefit ratio, and flexible staff
This hotel had bathrooms with separate showers and toilets. For me, coming from Spain, this was a great shock to see that the norm in India is to have them together.
The cost benefit was excelent. Clean rooms, big beds, extra beds, towels, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo for the price. Breakfast is also offered and great value.
I ended up checking in late, at 23, and the staff was flexible and attentative to my request.
A super minor note about the communication. Talking in English was enough for the bureaucratic portion, but casual chatting was a bit of a struggle.

Central location, best place to stay in Ernakulam on a budget - equidistant to both main train stations while MG road is a 5-10m walk. All popular eateries, cafes, movies everything under 3kms !
The hotel should consider adding a soap dish in the bathroom and also the free toiletries should be made on demand, else the paper boxes get wet during bathroom use - making it redundant to use for another guest, if the current guest chooses not to use any.
