2 Nächte in Riga
Pros:

Einrichtung stylisch zum Alter und Lage des Hauses. Zimmergrösse gut ausreichend; Frühstück top; hervorragende Lage am Dom.

Cons:

Catastrophale Anfahrsituation; überall Sackgassen und Einbahnstraßen. Anfahrt nur möglich über Domplatz. Parken vor dem Hotel sehr teuer (6 bis 8 €uro/h 24 h ); auch das Ein- und Ausladen kostenlos nur geduldet.

Tolle Lage mitten in der Altstadt

Perfekte Lage mitten in der Altstadt. Originelle Einrichtung. Modernes Bad.

Einzelzimmer sehr klein, dunkel, schmales Bett, Mini-Kühlschrank, Mini-TV (mit drei Programmen), mittelmäßiges Frühstück.

Die Lage macht vieles wett...
Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt am Domplatz.
Das Frühstück ganz gut, eher britisch lastig.
Die Optik der Räume ist interessant, schon was besonderes, mit antikem Charme.

Cons:

Zunächst musste ich darum bitten, das Bett neu zu beziehen, da auf dem Laken Blutflecken waren.
Das Zimmer selbst sehr geräumig, ganz unter dem Dach mit Schräge. Das Badezimmer auch sehr geräumig mit einer großen Badewanne. Allerdings ohne Duschvorhang, was dazu führt, dass das gesamte Bad unter Wasser stand nach dem Duschen. Vielleicht war aus diesem Grund im gesamten Bad keine Steckdose zu finden.
Der "antike" Charme, den ich oben beschrieben habe, zeigte sich auch in den extrem durchgesessenen Sesseln in der Lobby und auch die Polsterung der Stühle im Frühstücksraum war quasi nicht vorhanden.
Das Frühstück selber war ganz gut, allerdings wurde hier eher Wert auf sehr herzhaftes wie Würstchen u.Ä. gelegt als auf Brot oder von mir aus auch Toast. Das Personal im Frühstücksraum könnte gerne mal lächeln oder sonst irgendwie interagieren, aber das ist vermutlich nicht so einfach mit Knöpfen im Ohr.

Zentrale Lage in der Altstadt. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Schönes Zimmer.

Cons:

Kommunikation mit Bedienungspersonal beim Frühstück schwierig, wenn man eine Frage oder Wunsch hat: sprechen nur einheimische Sprachen.

Hotel op uitstekende plek in Riga
Pros:

Locatie! Heel veel beter dan dit wordt het niet. Prachtige plek in de oude stad met delen van de dommuur in de kamer. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Cons:

Airco was er wel, maar met weinig effect. Gelukkig kon het raam open, maar dan word je om zeven uur wakker. Keuzes. Onderhoud mag wat zorg hebben, de vloer was duidelijk al enige tijd stuk.

Onnistunut matka kokonaisuudessaan, hyvä sijainti on tärkeä.
