How this hotel is rated 4 star is beyond me especially when you see other 4 stars on the beach front. They're world's apart. It's annoying that you have to pay 4 star tourist tax!! I would rate this as a 2 star + at best.
The hotel is dated and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom in our room certainly needed a makeover. The bath towels were changed daily but every single towel each day was always frayed and some even had holes in them. I've thrown better ones away at home!
Taps in bathroom sink and shower full of limescale and mould on the shower screen.
Tea making facilities in the room were poor. Just a kettle and one small cup.( in a double room). No tea bags, coffee, milk or sugar.
The biggest problem with the hotel is the road that it's situated on. It looks terrible. It's disappointing that holiday companies don't show a photo of the front of the hotel (and I can see why they don't as it would have certainly put me off booking here).
We were very unfortunate to be placed in a room on this road side and I can say we never had a decent nights sleep in the 2 weeks we were there. The road is extremely noisy all night long. People talking loudly. Cars coming and going, banging doors and beeping horns and motorbikes revving engines. These noises could go on until 5:30am. I complained at reception and requested to move rooms but they were not helpful at all and just said they were fully booked.
Breakfast was very poor. I had to ask for coffee cups and spoons on a few ocassions. On a number of days they had no sliced bread for toast and when I asked each day for 3 days, I was told they were out of stock and would have it tomorrow, but they never did. Orange juice ran out a few times as did the milk and had wait for it to be stocked back up. Overall, not an enjoyable experience at breakfast.
Overall not a pleasant experience and we will never return and wouldn't recommend.
On the whole, an excellent stay (two weeks). We were bed and breakfast basis and found breakfast freshly prepared, with plenty of salad and pastries, but greatly lacking decent cereal (muesli, bran flakes - cereal with fibre) and fresh fruit (just apples and oranges, though unripe bananas available if you asked for them - id take them to room to ripen for a couple of days). I mostly had pancake with raisins, banana and yogurt, while friend enjoyed the omelette. The same processed cheese and 'spam' each day. In general, food very samey, but freshly prepared.
Premises very clean, staff lovely ,massage excellent.
Would consider a 3* but, at the end of the day, we got what we paid for - well under £500 (£34 a day, with flight!),
I stayed here for 4 nights half board and had a fantastic time. The staff are so lovely and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I found the breakfast to be great, fab coffee machine and an omelette and pancake station making them to order and so many cakes/pastries I think I've put on about a stone! The evening meal was fine, a salad bar, soup and approx 4 main courses to choose from and a selection of desserts. I booked a 1 hour relaxation massage at the hotel spa and the lovely Khadijf was my masseuse. She was amazing and the massage was so relaxing I actually fell asleep! The pool and garden area is lovely and the snack bar serves a lovely selection of sandwiches/burgers etc and is very reasonably priced. The location of the hotel is fab, only a 5 min walk to the beach and a shop right next door that again is very reasonably priced. I especially like the hours of food service 6am-10am for breakfast and 7pm-10pm for dinner. Lovely hotel, with lovely staff in a great location.🌟
Had a great time here definitely not a hotel if you want lots of entertainment but that definitely suited us. The staff were amazing from the young lady who made an amazing job every day of cleaning our room, the restaurant staff who were friendly and attentive, the doormen who went above and beyond to help with anything. All the staff were always smiling and welcoming. Food was delicious and we were there for the Moroccan experience so that also suited us. All in all we had a great week with all in Agadir. We will return ❤️❤️
Worst hotel we have ever stayed in.Was kept awake for 2 weeks with cars beeping people fighting in the street at 4am as we was next to a nightclub.Food in the hotel was disgusting and very rude and unhelpful staff. They wanted a surcharge before they would move rooms and when i refused they said they was full and no rooms available.Avoid this hotel and spend your money elsewhere.I have put an official complaint directly to jet 2 and they are investigating.Glad we had video footage as eveidence
The hotel itself is nice enough and the staff like most Moroccans are really friendly and couldn't do do enough for you. Breakfast was decent with a lot of choices ( nothing like a full English breakfast though). The cash machine in the hotel is much more expensive to use than others.
The shop next door is open until 0200.
The biggest drawback to the hotel is that it is very noisy at night with other guest moving etc. The street its on is a bit rough I was offered drugs and offered random trips and trinkets outside the hotel but they all took No for an answer relatively easily.
My partner and I stayed here for a week and had a lovely stay.
The room we had was overlooking the road at the front of thr hotel which meant we could hear music sometimes from outside but it didn't cause us to loose any sleep.
The room was clean and we had clean towels everyday, only thing that was annoying was sometimes the shower was so hot you couldn't stand under it and when you tried to make it cooler you froze!
The staff are lovely and friendly from the cleaners to the bar staff nothing is too much bother.
Plenty of sunbeds by the pool which was a nice quiet area to relax in.
We did a few trips via Issam who was great. Sanboarding, tour of Agadir and the sunset camel bbq all were worth the money.
We also used the spa in the hotel again really good.
All in all a fabulous hotel 5 mins from the beach and loads of lovely places to eat everywhere. Would definitely stay here again and can't wait to go back
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with great attention to detail. The location is excellent—close to everything and easy to access. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
Had a lovely time at this hotel.
Staff were friendly in all areas.
Comfy beds , very clean hotel.
Good pool and sunbathing area but this time of year it’s lunch time before sun gets on it.
Breakfast plenty to choose from , Cereals, egg station , continental an salad- breads.
Only thing was no balcony but reviews tell you that.
Only 10mins to beach, plenty of places to eat nearby.
Would stay again for the price we paid.
Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Tildi. It is in a great location and it provides everything you need. I found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful and always willing to help. The hotel itself is kept very clean along with the pool area. Breakfast was included in my stay and it was pleasant. I only visited for a long weekend and i wanted to spend most time outside the hotel so this was perfect for me in the value for money and purpose. I would recommend to anyone who is just looking for a nice place to lay there head down and chill for a few hours throughout the day, it doesn't have much for entertainment but where the location is you can find plenty to do. The beach is around a ten minute walk and it is very nice to visit.
Fantastic trip to Agadir. Lovely hotel in a great location, spotlessly clean and wonderful staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Already looking forward to returning.
I booked this holiday through a 'too good to miss' price on the jet2 app. I actually already had a fortnight holiday booked in Agadir through easyjet, however, the price of this deal was exceptionally good so I cancelled my other booking and went with this.
The hotel had mixed reviews but I was prepared to make the best of this experience. This is our third trip to Morocco in 12 months, our two previous trips probably cost double this one.
I'm happy to say we're delighted with Tildi hotel. The location is first class. The hotel is clean and welcoming, very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent food, good selection of wines at incredibly reasonable prices. Lovely pool area with a good selection of sunny and shady areas and plenty of sun loungers.
We will definitely be returning again and highly recommend it 👍 👌 😊
The location was perfect. Very close to danialand( we trekked) and there are shops around. Close to the beach too! (We trekked!) Taxi outside and allows for easy pick up and drop off.
The food was okay, but you see the pancakes and eggs, excellent!!! 😍 thumbs up to the ladies at the pancakes and eggs station, mind you it was a buffet so eat what you like but the pancakes and eggs were made on the spot to your taste
The view from the hotel was amazing. The receptionist were welcoming and friendly.
Our hotel wardrobe fell off the same night without being tampered with but thankfully no one was injured. It was fixed the second day. The hotel building looks a bit old but for the price and all the pecks above, that was a catch
What an absolutely dump. The only positive about this hotel is that it is located close to the marina and beach. It’s rooms are wrecked the showers are like the old camping blocks in the 80s. The shower barely trickled water.
Breakfast is absolutely disgusting and consists of warmed up food from the evening meal smelled awful. There were hairs on the plates next to the food all covered in grease. No boiled eggs and by 9am everything is empty. Two choices of poor breakfast cereal. The just was beetroot and actually was gritty with dirt in it. The place boasts a gym on Booking.com don’t be fooled by the glossy pictures they are extremely old. None of the gym equipment works and is dangerous. The poolside is cracked and dangerous. The housekeeper thought it was absolutely ok to walk in on myself and my husband naked without knocking despite the sign been in the door. I told her off as she actually did not get out when told to. Management said she was upset afterwards but Nevermind about how upset I was.
After we made complaints we weee offered silly massage and food. I wanted my money back but the exceptionally rude aggressive nasty reception manager said NO. Booking .com forced it in the end as we had a right. During the process the horrible little woman snatched paperwork from husbands hand very aggressively. I had to step in and warn her to back off behind reception at this point I was embarrassed and upset.
We booked another hotel for our remaining six days and this hotel is fantastic.
Note stick with what you know because the Tildi is the worst hotel I have stayed in all of Agadir and we have stayed in most of them.
Stayed here with my mum for a week in November 2025. The room was layed out lovely on arrival with decorations and petals. Maybe to hide the fact of other issues. The breakfast had a variety of options and was a great way to to sneak some lunch too if your sly. Cheap drinks also at the bar. Lovely pool and good service while you are there with staff walking round to offer you food and drinks. The wifi didn’t work at all in my room it cut out every 5 minutes and i needed to stand by the door for messages to send which was frustrating. The room was clean enough but had a lot of wear and tear and weird marks on the wall. The bathroom had a weird smell and the toilet paper didn’t go far. The staff were friendly and helpful but i sometimes felt like i was an inconvenience when i needed something like extra toilet paper. Overall a cheap hotel in a good location I would come back for the price.
My daughter and I booked this hotel quickly without much research. I was a little concerned by the mixed reviews.
However, this hotel is fabulous. No issues. Staff were amazing. Hotel is clean and the pool quite wonderful.
I used the spa and had a massage and a pedicure. Both great.
Hotel is close to the beach. I paid extra for a room overlooking the pool and emailed the hotel directly, before arriving, to secure it.
Breakfast is great. Rooms overlooking the pool are quiet.
For a cheap (ish) hotel, it is quite wonderful. Thanks so much to everyone
Ps always tip a small amount everywhere you go, it makes your holiday more smiley and a little easier 😂
This hotel was definitely clean and bright and spacious, but rather basic, not what you would expect from a four star.
The buffet was lacklustre and the dining area rather soulless.
The pool was nice and quiet with plenty of beds and the food by the pool could be ordered to your sunbed.
I am surprised to see so many reviews here talking about how friendly the staff were as we found them polite but indifferent. Even when my mother was struck by a car near the hotel they just gave us a number for a taxi to call to go to the hospital and not offering any help at all. Some other guests helped in the end and got her some water and an ice pack for her leg.
Aside from the car collision there were a few other issues. The room felt hot at night even with the air conditioning and when we enquired we were told that the air conditioning was being kept warmer because it was winter. This would have been okay if we could have had the window open, but the street was very very noisy, especially when the nightclub let out at 3.00am and even more so when Morocco won the U20 football World Cup and we endured two hours of vehicles honking horns, circling and waving flags. We were also woken by the plumbing cutting off and making alarming sounds one night requiring a plumber visit.
I decided to try the spa and had a facial. I was left with soft skin, but I have no idea what she did as she didn't explain any of it, not even in French, and "My Heart will go on" played on panpipes repeated on loop for the entire 45 minutes!
This hotel claims four stars, it would be pushing it to give it one. Indifferent staff, basic rooms and facilities, non-working AC. The breakfasts were limited and minimal, the other dining experiences thoroughly disappointing. The location of the hotel means crossing a very busy main road to get to the beach or the marina where most of the better restaurants are located. I was clipped by a car on one of Agadir’s scary pedestrian crossings but when I got back to the hotel, bruised and shaken (courtesy of the driver who hit me) the staff took very little interest all they could say was “Get a taxi to the hospital.” As I was not badly hurt I declined and it was other guests at the hotel who found a cold compress for my injured leg. The AC not working properly meant my daughter and I had to leave the window ajar to get some cool air but this let in noise from locals celebrating a football match until 3 one morning, Every night was noisy to be honest. The pool and sunbathing deck are ok and there are plenty of beds which was a saving grace but in no way made up for the discourteous staff and the shoddy facilities in the rest of the hotel. I will not be going back to the Tildi.
Image my horror when we booked in and was given room 111. Several people had made comments about the horrible noises coming from this room on Tripadvisor .We asked to change immediately as we had asked for a high up room and this was on the first floor anyway. They assured us it was a quiet room. The room itself was dated but over looked the pool and the mountains, beautifully view. It seemed quiet enough. As we unpacked we heard the noise, it started quiet enough but reached a crescendo after about half an hour and then it literally shook the room for ten minutes. It sounded like a maniacal washing machine, but we could be wrong. This happened at regular intervals during the day and fortunately stopped about nine thirty at night. We were out most of the day only came back for a rest late afternoon. We decided to put up with it as it was quiet overnight. In saying that it was noisy anyway at night, the locals loved to sound their car horns day and night. Being at the pool side of hotel probably quieter than the front and it was fascinating to watch the cable cars going up and down..
The bathroom was the worst looking but everything worked and plenty of hot water.
The whole place is spotlessly clean and linen replaced regularly. It is an excellent centre for seeing the city, ten minutes walk to the main attractions. My husband enjoyed the Moroccan breakfast and I stuck to the excellent freshly made omelettes. Pool bar meals were good value. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even with language differences. French is the main language and most of the menus in local restaurants were in French, some did produce an English one when asked.
A little disappointed with the city as we didn’t know it had tragically been flattened in 1960 by an earthquake and it was all new builds. Some lovely parks though.
For a budget hotel, brilliant and would recommend. Take a kettle if you like a hot drink. Some rooms did have drink making facilities but ours didn’t.
Would agree more 3* than 4* but the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Rooms cleaned daily as are towels (even if not needed) and bedding every 3 days.
Free safe, air con and plenty of storage, hot water and fluffy towels, incl pool towels.
Go for a pool view at rear overlooking the pool. We upgraded to balcony but not needed.
Go for higher floor for view towards the mountains.
Loads of different nationalities staying which for is great, but breakfast is mixed; Pastries, pancakes and omelettes nice. Lunch and drinks good and cheap. Evening meal good and cheap but lacks ambience.
Felt safe walking around. Loads of restaurants and everyone wanders along the front in the evenings. Great atmosphere and warm
Small hotel, very relaxing, no rush for sunbeds. Would return.
Special mention to the staff & cleaner who dressed up our room for my partner’s special birthday. Thank you.
