Loved the location.
Pros:

Ocean view was great. Instructions re late arrival received too late - should have been advised that reception closed at 5 pm.

Cons:

The weather! We got soaked trying to find how to check in.

Disappointing — major noise and disruption, unavailable facilities, and poor cleaning standards.
Pros:

Nice property grounds, modern rooms that were well equipped.

Cons:

Construction works were ongoing at the neighbouring property, and despite this, we were placed in a room directly beside the building site. On the third morning, a crane was erected approximately five metres from our bedroom window at 4:00 am, forcing us to move rooms on our final night (we were on the ground/level 1 floor) which was really disruptive and time wasting. We were put in a room in the other tower (where we should have been put first given the construction works) that was much nicer than the original.
The indoor pool was also out of service the whole time (was one of the reasons we booked given the weather was cooler and we wouldnt be able to use the outdoor pool), and the cleaning standard was poor, with dirty dishes in the cupboards, hair in the bathroom, dust on the skirting boards and under the beds along with a dirty sock.

Pros:

Location, view, parking, size of accommodation, kitchen facilities. It was very convenient being able to stay in and cook and relax after a big day. The views fron the roof top are beautiful. Staff are very friendly.

Cons:

We were told the spa would be fixed the day we arrived, 5 days later it was still freezing cold, air con unit right at the head of the bed on the verandah sounded like a jet taking off, children couldn't sleep in that room

Very disappointing, I would not recommend you stay here until apartment is renovated.

Great instructions to get keys from the lockbox - easy access to the building and my apartment.

Cons:

The apartment was well below the standard I'd expect for the price. The bed was very uncomfortable, way too firm, not a lot better than sleeping on the floor. I would also recommend some curtains in the bedroom, the light from outside permeates into the room all night, the blinds do little to help with this. The bathroom was awful, the floor looked like years of grime had built up and when I stepped into the shower I wanted to get straight back out, it looked dirty, again appearing to have years of grime build up. The vanity cupboard where the hairdryer is kept, was also stained and appeared unclean. One of the cupboard doors was very difficult to open. I didn't sit on the sofa, again it was very old, and well-worn and looked dirty. I spoke to reception about this the first morning I was there, they said there had been a number of complaints about this apartment. It should NOT be rented again until the owner has done a full renovation.

Superior Ocean View room was anything but
Pros:

It was a great location, and the apartment was big enough for 2 people (albeit a bit of a pokey design)

Cons:

The room was marketed as a "Superior Ocean View" room. The balcony faced north, and the only view of the ocean was out of the living room windows, or looking directly right from the balcony. This accounted for less than 1/3 of the view from the living. I would have expected this should be advertised as a 'partial ocean view room'

Great Location
Pros:

A little disappointed in the housekeeping staff. We accidentally left behind 2 USB wall chargers. I was expected a call from the provider and we would have requested these to be posted back. :(
