Pros:

The location, free parking, the size of the room. The restaurant and bar area looked nice and seemed to have been recently renovated but we didn't use them.

Cons:

The bedroom and corridors leading to the bedrooms looked very tired, even shabby in places - worn and stained carpets, scuffs and marks on woodwork and furniture. The cups in the room didn't match and were stained. Only one pillow on each bed (there was one spare pillow in the wardrobe but it didn't have a pillow case).

Nice staff, very quiet and plenty of (free) parking but an uncomfortable bed, poor shower and not very clean room.
Pros:

Convenient location and easy parking.

Lovely people who work there.

Nice clean crisp bed linen and lovely big fluffy towels.

Quiet nights sleep and opening windows.

Reasonable price for the area

Cons:

The mattress was poor quality and we could feel the springs

No mattress cover just a sheet on it.

The shower was VERY poor, no pressure and water only came out of about 1/3rd of a very small shower head.

Not very clean - an almost empty can of Pepsi on the floor to the side of the bedside table when we arrived.

Very disappointed as I remember the hotel on the 70/80s . It was well kept then. Needs to be refurbished.
Pros:

Friendly staff

Cons:

Very very old furnishings in bedroom ground floor. Not been updated since 80s. Very basic .
Parts of ground floor smell old.
