Easy walking distance to main train and bus stations.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff, fluent in English. Great breakfast included Bulgaria’s famous yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage and European-style cold cuts and cheeses. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the gold-bricked streets of the historic downtown. Limited dining options near the hotel but a small market with fresh vegetables, bottled water and Cokes, etc. is a three-minute walk.

Great hotel. Great breakfast . Near the station and literally next to the tram line to take you into the city . Bar environment good. Would stay here again

My experience was very good

Started with having to climb seven flights of stairs because lift wasn’t working then the room and bed smelt badly of cigarette smoke despite asking for a non-smoking room. Everytime I went to reception they ignored me and continued speaking to other employees in Bulgarian as if I didn’t exist. The breakfast was nice and staff in dining room were pleasant.

The room is quite small and dimly lit. The furniture is dark brown and so is the carpet. We were there in mid April and found the room very warm. We opened the window to let in some cool air but that was a short term solution because of the street noise.

Breakfast was good but the wifi in our room was non-existent.

Comfortable bed clean bathroom but carpets old and stained.
Very nice breakfast though.
My only complaint is that they charge 25 Euros and not Levas for airport transfer when a Cab only charges 25 BGN . So I got a cab as cheaper. I would stay again as it’s close to the bus station. Thank you.

Good place to stay

We were pleasantly surprised at the attentiveness of staff to our needs, their ability to quickly help when needed and always being greeted with a smile. The food was chef exceptional. Ate at this hotel every evening as a result. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs and bacon, fresh croissants and various coffee choices. Room was clean, AC worked well and very spacious. VIP status was definitely worthy. Location of the hotel was in walking distance to all the historical sites (less then 20 minutes) We would recommend this hotel.

A good value option 20-25 mins from the centre but close to trams, buses and metro. Rooms were spotlessly clean, fast wifi and good breakfast. Staff are lovely and helpful, especially Maria on reception.

Staff very friendly. A little noisy and view of rusted manufacturing facilities.
