Perfect for our needs and would stay again every time I visit Sydney.
Pros:

Quiet - Quaint and amazing location -room was great. Managers were excellent and very attentive and friendly. Amazing breakfast!

Great location. Cleanliness could have been better.
Pros:

Fantastic location, walking distance to the event we attended and was lovely strolling around the neighbourhood.

Cons:

The shower had a foul looking stain/growth in the bottom of it and didn't look clean - we both avoided having a shower as we didn't want to step foot in a dirty shower. The bed also had a strange smell when I slept in it.

Hidden gem of comfort and convenience
Pros:

Lovely hotel tucked away from the main street and still so close to everything. The room provided was very clean and quiet, with occasional birdsong and very little traffic. The decor and furnishings are homely and well maintained, making it feel comfortable and welcoming, as well as nice and cool in the heat. All the staff are professional, friendly and courteous and the entry/exit was very well lit for use when it’s dark. Will definitely try and stay again.

Aged Care Facility Practice Session
Pros:

The location is close to Potts Point cafes, Garden Island Naval Base and several good pubs.

Cons:

This hotel was originally set up as an aged care facility and has much of the original character of an aged care facility or hospital. The rooms lack character and as noted more like an aged care room furniture and cheap wall print. I would suggest if you work in a hospital or similar facility, you would think you are back at work in an old facility. The room description notes a balcony but it in reality it is a shared common area. The room door handle and lock is not great and could easily be broken. McElhome Street is very run down with plenty of street rubbish and issues with surrounding neighbours.

Lovely hotel within walking distance from city center
Pros:

* Breakfast was included
* We got our room graciously upgraded
* The manager is super nice and the staff will treat you well! Rooms were cleaned exceptionally well every day
* The hotel is only a short walk away from the city center and the Opera House (or an Uber ride, if you're feeling lazy)

Cons:

Breakfast was the same every day, could've used a bit of variety in my opinion.
