Good for price!
Pros:

Staff that did the check in was super friendly. The room was confortable. The breakfast had several options and coffee was good.

Cons:

There were a couple of roaches inside the room, the decor was a little outdated.

Well done, Marriott - again! Or still...!
Pros:

So here we are, almost exactly 2 years from our last visit, and another quick one night and home trip. This time we got 2 queens, as the 1 king rooms were all taken when I made my reservation.

Everything I said in my previous review of this property still applies. However, this time the front desk staff was much more friendly than 2 years ago, and very accommodating as we arrived shortly after 12 noon and we were allowed to check into our room! Thank you SO much for that and allowing us to have a place to change for the beach.

A problem that popped up with the in-room safe was quickly resolved by maintenance, and we were off to Lighthouse Beach.

The AC in the room worked VERY WELL, and was not overly loud. The tub/shower had a curtain, so there were no water on the floor issues as we have had at other Marriott properties.

The ice machine in the lobby did its job and kept the leftovers in our cooler cold until we got home along with providing ice for drinks overnight.

Thank you yet again, for making our quick trip to Sanibel worry-free and as comfortable as it could have possibly been.

it was great for a short stay the staff was really nice, and the aesthetics of the property are nice

Leider etwas hellhörig... Man konnte die Gäste über uns deutlich hören... Ich empfehle Ohrenstöpsel... Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber alles da und voll okay

Overall great breakfast and quiet hotel.
Pros:

Lobby was nice and clean

Cons:

I did not like that the cleaning staff did not knock to enter our room. Also that most of the staff wasn’t friendly. No sense of customer appreciation was given just stale, angry faces and zero smiles.

La chambre était vétuste et surtout très sale ! J’ai trouvé des cheveux dans le lit, des empreintes de doigts sur les miroirs et il y’avait encore des confettis et saleté sur le sol du précédent habitant sûrement ! J’ai trouvé l’hôtel vraiment très sale sauf les parties communes qui donnent une impression d’hôtel propre alors que c’est faux ! Je me suis plainte au personnel qui n’a absolument rien fait à part me dire que je pouvais avoir des points supplémentaires via leur service de fidélité ! Une blague

Supposed to be a relaxing night away, was not granted that. Just additional stress.

The staff. Alicia ran my card for the room I already paid for x2 times and that is still held on my account and had caused severe issues for me and overdraft fees. Insisted that I need to run my card AGAIN for incidentals. Which I couldn’t do because she charged my card x2 for $300 I paid $300 for the room so I didn’t have that available. Im a stroke survivor and my sons autistic and i requested a room on a low floor or close to an elevator. #527 (may be off the last 2 numbers) was absolutely none of that so getting access to the pool area or outside was such a long walk. I have physical and mental deficits from the strokes so this was too much on my body and a relaxing night away started off and ended not great. I wish my experience was different. Ive stayed at many Marriott’s over the years and this by far was the most disappointing. I just wanted a night away to swim with my son and boyfriend to relax.
