Pros:

We had a very nice stay overall. The room was very clean, and both king beds were in excellent condition and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed.

The only issue we had was with the sofa bed. The mattress was not in good condition, and we could feel the springs coming through, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep on. I would recommend replacing the sofa bed mattress.

Other than that, everything in the room was great. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options, and everything was delicious.

Overall, we had a very good experience and enjoyed our stay.

Horrible Experience
Pros:

We stayed 1 night in route to Key West and were very disappointed in this hotel. The room was incredibly dirty, the shower had soap from the previous guest it obviously hadn't been cleaned. The toilet seat was broken and I almost slide off, it moved almost completely off the frame when you sat down. There was blood on the walls. The kitchen and table had food stains all over the counters and the refrigerator had food residue. The dining table seats were covered in large food crumbs. The couch was not usable, it was also stained and sunk almost to the floor when you sat down. It didn't appear the room had been cleaned, not even vacuumed after the previous guest. The room condition was very concerning,we were exhausted from driving all day and checked in late otherwise we would have tried to find another hotel. We slept on blankets we had in our vehicle and wore flip flops to shower. For being a Marriott we were extremely surprised and disappointed, will never stay with this brand again. Look elsewhere if your vacationing in this area.

Thr pool and hot tub were very relaxing

Im handicapped and was placed on the 3rd floor 3rd farthest from the elevator,The bed was so worn your head was lower than your feet, the room above air conditioner leaked all night long and saturated the wall and floor with a constant dripping, and the second night we were evacuated due to the smoke alarms going off again im handicapped and had to walk 3 flights of stairs

Pros:

Staff that did the check in was super friendly. The room was confortable. The breakfast had several options and coffee was good.

There were a couple of roaches inside the room, the decor was a little outdated.

Well done, Marriott - again! Or still...!
Pros:

So here we are, almost exactly 2 years from our last visit, and another quick one night and home trip. This time we got 2 queens, as the 1 king rooms were all taken when I made my reservation.

Everything I said in my previous review of this property still applies. However, this time the front desk staff was much more friendly than 2 years ago, and very accommodating as we arrived shortly after 12 noon and we were allowed to check into our room! Thank you SO much for that and allowing us to have a place to change for the beach.

A problem that popped up with the in-room safe was quickly resolved by maintenance, and we were off to Lighthouse Beach.

The AC in the room worked VERY WELL, and was not overly loud. The tub/shower had a curtain, so there were no water on the floor issues as we have had at other Marriott properties.

The ice machine in the lobby did its job and kept the leftovers in our cooler cold until we got home along with providing ice for drinks overnight.

Thank you yet again, for making our quick trip to Sanibel worry-free and as comfortable as it could have possibly been.

Leider etwas hellhörig... Man konnte die Gäste über uns deutlich hören... Ich empfehle Ohrenstöpsel... Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber alles da und voll okay

Overall great breakfast and quiet hotel.
Pros:

Lobby was nice and clean

Cons:

I did not like that the cleaning staff did not knock to enter our room. Also that most of the staff wasn’t friendly. No sense of customer appreciation was given just stale, angry faces and zero smiles.
