DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leeds City Centre

Stayed here for a night out in Leeds, having stayed here a few times before. We really like the hotel and location, next to the pretty canal on one side and the station on the other. So handy for exploring the city centre too. Very friendly and comfortable hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated, quiet, comfy bed, clean and well-appointed bathroom. Sky bar also worth a visit on the top floor with a good selection of cocktails. Breakfast buffet was very good quality, with lots to choose from. We will be back!

So - this is a comfortable and well appointed hotel. The public areas, lifts and corridors are all in good order. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, a decent sized bathroom, a large TV and complimentary water in the room.

I had breakfast (paid for separately @ £20) which was a good selection of everything you might expect, with takeaway coffee/ tea cups too - which is a nice touch.

Stayed here from January 1st - January 3rd for my partners birthday, we've stayed here before and decided to return, the hotel & staff are great, hotel has a great location, we stayed on the 8th floor with a canal view, the room & views were great, even had sky sports in our room which was an added bonus, we booked a Bottomless Brunch in the sky lounge on the 13th floor, food & drinks & service were all great....Special mention to Oscar who was a very friendly and nice man who kept us topped up with drinks and was always on hand for a little chat, all in all this was another great stay, and we will definitely be back

Awful experience . New years I had to dash home unexpectedly and took the room key . Reception refused to give my partner a spare despite speaking to me on the phone. She was left hysterical and vulnerable in the lobby for a distressing amount of time. Shocking service will never use Hilton again

Really great hotel right at the start of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal (though they don't tell you that, I only discovered it by accident). Well located next to Leeds station and with stunning views over the station - I asked for a high room with a view over the station and got room 1126. They said no-one asks for a view over the station, but I did!

The hotel is well appointed and the staff were very attentive. Room was comfortable and very quiet.

Breakfast is well spec'd although the pillars in the dining room get in the way of the circulation. Not a lot I guess they can do about that.

Overall, great stay!

Travelling solo with a baby isn’t always easy, but the staff at Doubletree Leeds made it a brilliant trip.

The check-in experience was lovely - the ladies on reception were friendly and helpful. I parked at the hotel, which was easy and convenient.

The rooms have been re-decorated since my last stay a few years ago and they are nicely done. Very comfortable bed, and interestingly my baby slept better here than at home!

While waiting in reception in the evening we got chatting to two more lovely members of staff who made me feel welcome, and again were very helpful.

The highlight was breakfast, where a brilliant server (Afaraj - apologies if I’ve spelt that incorrectly) helped entertain my baby while I finished my breakfast.

The warmth of the staff really made this trip a positive one, and I would happily recommend Doubletree by Hilton Leeds to family and friends.

I had not stayed at this hotel for a while but needed a place to stay in Leeds after a business event. Excellent experience at check-in, Diamond status recognised and upgraded to King Suite.

Room was lovely and spacious, very comfortable bed and complimentary water, cookie and chocolate provided. Room service was tasty and arrived promptly.

Breakfast was OK but a little chaotic due to the layout and being quite busy. Food quality was average and not at the level of the Leeds City Hilton. (Not enough to detract from a 5 star rating however - room and service just too good!)

Amazing Hotel, room was so quiet and comfortable, staff friendly helpful and welcoming, free warm cookie on arrival. The room was spotless and bed so comfortable I used the hotel gym that was really well equipped and clean. Breakfast was out of this world. I would stay again and recommend to anyone

My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Double Tree Hilton hotel in Leeds. The accommodation, food and service was at the usual high standard we would expect from a Hilton hotel. We had booked our room through another company using a voucher we had been given. We arrived at the hotel after a long journey to be told the travel company had actually cancelled our booking without notifying us. We spent the next two hours trying to contact them without much success. We would like to thank the reception team and especially Mariat who went out of their way to try and rectify the problem. We had to book and pay for another room but this has since been refunded as the travel company finally paid what they should have done originally. A stressful start to our weekend but the friendly professional approach of Mariat made it easier to cope with.

First time staying at this hotel, stayed 2 nights at the weekend whilst in Leeds for shopping trip. We were unsure on the parking situation when we arrived, but reception promptly assigned us a parking bay and directed us to the car park.

Found all the staff at the hotel be friendly and approachable - free, warm cookies on arrival - nice touch!

We had a room overlooking the lock, room was spotless as was the hotel in general.

Location is perfect and only 5 minute walk into city centre.

Enjoyed it so much, we are looking to book and return again next year!

Pristine hotel with beautiful bedrooms, pristine bedding and towels. Very well situated with fabulous bars close by.

Been staying here since 2010 when it was the Mint hotel. Stayed in nearly every room type except for the King Master Suite. Today has got to have been the best breakfast selection I’ve ever seen, so much choice and friendly staff as always. A big thank you to Rachel for upgrading us to the Junior King Suite, absolutely love this room. Had such a good nights sleep decided to book New Year’s Eve. This is our go-to hotel for a city break, centrally located, clean, fantastic service and we always have a fantastic time.

Been here a few times-ideal for Leeds city centre and the main train station. It also caters for Celiacs/gluten free-which I took full advantage of!

The rooms can be a bit warm and their is A/C but it’s a bit noisy-and you need it as if you open the window,you tend to hear Charlie the Train pulling off to Manchester 😀

But it’s a small grumble due to the hotel being good and the surrounding area.

Will be back!

Just stayed here for 5 days on a work event. Nice hotel, great area.
Comfortable spacious room. Good WiFi. Very clean, modern. Good iron and hairdryer in the room. Despite being very close to the train station not at all disturbed by noise. Would have liked a thicker duvet but that’s a personal preference.

Nice rooms for meetings. Staff took great care of us. Great amenities, good coffee and nice snacks.

Really good food at breakfast and lunch. I ate in the bar a couple of times in the evenings, enjoyed the food.

Nice bar on the top floor with great views over the city.

All staff from front desk, to bar/waiting staff, to house keeping were really friendly and professional.

Great experience. Definitely recommend as a place to host business events.

I will definitely come back in ‘tourist mode’ in the future as I really liked the area next to the water. Great little places to eat/drink very close by. Felt relaxing by the water. Short 5-10 minute walk into the city centre.

Excellent hotel , great room , excellent area , immaculate and tidy , easy hotel car park , 10 min walk to shops , good restaurants and bars nearby

Check in was smooth and we were allowed in early ! Welcome cookie on arrival , room had iron and fridge with tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water - quiet and spacious .
Check out was the same and bags retained until we returned later on in the day

Perfect location for the railway station and only 25 minute walk to Leeds Arena - great in house bar and restaurant.

Fabulous hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms perfect. Great location. Good value for money. Parking just adjacent to the hotel.
