RH Hotel Pretoria

Attached to a small mall which was handy for dining. Supermarket available.The area surrounding the hotel was dubious.
Hotel room was clean with fridge.
Staff very helpful.

It was good. Nice service.

This is a good hotel. Suitably located connected to a mall. One of the more affordable options in it's class if that is what you are looking for. Also offers great views of the city if you are on the higher floors.

Having been visiting this property for a few years now.
Housekeeping is extremely poor, no dental kits, an almost finished toilet roll , toilet was not working properly on the flush, safe was locked when I reached room, lights were not working even with card inserted.

Only positive is the hospitality of Thandi at the front desk

I last stayed their approx. 5 years ago and where most hotels in S.A. have deteriorated this hotel is still excellent

The place looked good.
1. Getting there was hard as the location was not clear.
2. Reception and welcome area were very good
3. The room itself looked good
4. The shower needs to be worked on, it does not look clean. The shower head was also not soo good it looked rusty
5. I found 2 cockroaches in the toilet
6. The bed made my back very sore
7. they need to buy new pillows, it was just fluff
8. Water was warm not hot which made it hard to shower in the very cold pretoria weather.

It was a good stay. The breakfast was good. It is located in the Sunnypark mall, so there are lot of options in-terms of bars and restaurants.

Small rooms, but still suitable for a couple of days. As a plus, the hotel is within a shopping, where you can buy some groceries and food

It was amazing ,clean and you have a piece of mind coz it's quite.Not forgetting the staff , everything was lovely

I did a reservation with the hotel on the 7th everything was done online and i paid in full also online. The following day when i must go and check in i was told the hotel is closed. If the hotel is closed why don't put a notice to show that you are temporarily closed, now i booked with my money and i can't even get the money back because you are not loyal to your customers. You took my money but the room i did not get

Would not stop here if you paid me ! I stayed here at the end of a great 2 weeks in South Africa with my parents. On 2 occasions other residents of the hotel entered my parents rooms as they had been given keys by reception as they had their room shown as vacant on their system. Terrified my parents we ended up leaving the hotel. The terrace of the property was also covered in broken glass.

If you want a basic city hotel with good service, this is the place for you. The rooms are just what you need - nothing more and the bathroom too. The staff was friendly and assisted with what we asked for. Note that Uber cars are scared to drop off and pick you up at the hotel due to meter taxis lining up around the corner outside the mall. If you do not have to stay in the city, I would pick a nicer location in another area (Brooklyn or Waterkloof)

On checkin , Edward gave us a dirty room - 3rd floor by the lift which was not cleaned and beds not made up - we had to go down stairs again for our room to be changed ,we were given the 10th floor , nice view of the pool , the breakfast was cold which is so unappetizing , the staff was very friendly though at the breakfast.

The staff was friendly and the check in process was quick. However, the double bed was tiny, lumpy and uncomfortable. Also not the safest neighborhood.
