Fabulous
Pros:

Beautiful location and exceptionally clean.
Owner - he was very friendly and customer minded.
Restaurant staff - good but the young blonde lady was exceptional.

A lovely break after a hard few months, just what we needed and would go again.
Pros:

Lovely breakfast good evening meal and Sunday lunch and brilliant staff.

Cons:

Sofa in room a little too soft for us and no grab handle in shower.

Perfect stop before the ferry to Ireland
Pros:

Garden room in the gatehouse. Spacious lounge, picnic table and our own garden for sitting outside. Really clean and comfortable, fabulous breakfast and lovely staff

Clean, functional accommodation with everything you need. Tasty dog friendly restaurant.
Pros:

We stayed self-catering and it was super quick to check in and we could park right outside so was easy for our luggage. Nice space for the dog to use for the toilet with cleaning facilities. We tried the Sunday lunch in the dog friendly area and it was delicious and high quality and options for the dog too. Clean accommodation with lots of facilities - we would stay again.

Very pleasant two night stay.
Pros:

Very comfortable and clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Location - nowhere to walk from hotel. Needed car to get anywhere.

Perfect stay
Pros:

We stayed in no10 the gate house
It was perfect had a lovely garden so we could sit and relax

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like but on our next stay woukd book at restaurant and stay longer

Excellent choice when traveling by motorcycle
Pros:

Staff were really amazing and will make you feel like you are some kind of VIP. The food at the restaurant was so good- the chef there is amazing. Very quiet, did not hear other guests.

Perfect place with everything we needed, fab food and service too.
Pros:

Beautiful place in a fabulous location. We stayed in the gatehouse which was perfect for us with our dog. The food was delicious and the staff were great. The rooms were clean and well decorated with everything we needed including a welcome pack for the dog!

Pros:

Comfortable room with sofa and nice big bathroom and the dressing table had a plug nearby for a hairdryer.

Location pleasant.

Cons:

Waitress at breakfast commenting on food choices not being healthy - their healthy options were prunes (effects of which not ideal when travelling), grapefruit (contraindicated with 80+ common medications), fruit bowl which contained citrus (a common allergen). If there is a menu choice serve it with a smile and keep your dietary advice to yourself.

Other residents could be easily heard in the room so likely to be noisy if children nearby.

Two restaurants, one casual dining, one more formal but they had a shared menu!!
