Location and a nice family room
The restaurant was slow the night we stayed but it was busy with a wedding
Staff were all friendly and helpful, makes such a difference. Pod was so cosy and comfortable, handy for going into hotel for delicious dinner and breakfast. Great value for money, felt so relaxed after staying only one night. Lovely area to explore.
Excellent service - I had to change the dates due to a change in circumstance and then needed a late check in due to a delay in our removals van turning up late and they couldn’t have been more accommodating both times. The glamping pod was excellent, wonderful layout and a lot roomier than I thought it would be. The night porter was incredibly friendly and accommodating too, really lovely chap.
I’m just sad we didn’t get to spend more time there and enjoy the breakfast as we had to leave earlier than it was served to finish the rest of our journey.

The doors were quite noisy when being shut by other guests. Would benefit from slow closing hinges
Loved the location and ease of parking. Pod was nice, comfy, good shower.
Selection for breakfast was good the sausages and toast was nice.
The cobwebs all over the pod inside, the stained toilet roll, the gap in the door of pod 2 when locked you can see outside which caused quite a draft. No fire alarm, no bedding or towels for our child. No dish towel, cutlery or dishes.
Breakfast had good selection but unfortunately the eggs still jelly on top, scrambled eggs like rubber, apple juice had hair in it, bacon hardly cooked. Apart from that it was nice stay.
