Great staff, helpful and friendly
Food was excellent
Location fantastic
Beautiful location, great food, comfy large room with tea/coffee. Staff were very welcoming, polite and attentive. When questioning breakfast times (8-10am) which was too late for me stating work at 8am, they offered a breakfast bag, and then the night porter stepped in and offered to cook me early breakfast himself. Excellent service.
Plates for dinner were not pre-warmed, so starter sauce was cold on arrival at table, main meal plate also stone cold, although food very warm and tasty. TV in room randomly popped up with menus as if remote was dodgy. Put in room 1, which view is of the roof and back of kitchen, whereas with only 2 rooms occupied, it would have been better customer experience to put in one of the sea view rooms
Perfect stay, and dinner was delicious.
Nothing
excellent food and service
The staff were lovely and our room was very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely as well. Location was great, beautiful views over the water. Bit pricey in a taxi into town. We were very lucky that the sun was shining on our visit. Will go back again!
Everything was just great
Ideal place for a break, and area steaped in history.
Meals were great, staff friendly and helpful.
Well maintained with choices of living quarters.
Would we go back - Happily 😀
Although all clean and tidy a deep clean would be good.
Into shower edges, balcony door threshold and external area of cigerete butts!
Everything apart from the breakfast
The breakfast was poorly cooked, cold beans, undercooked tomato and over cooked eggs.
The big bath
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Every member of staff was so lovely and welcoming. We stayed in on of their pods and they are absolutely fantastic. All you need fot a nice cosy weekend, kitted out with heating and a smart tv Food was amazing from their restaurant. 10/10 stay. Will definitely be back 🤍
Nothing absolutely perfect stay 🤍
Spacious, calm, quiet and absolutely beautiful
There wasn’t anything to dislike!
Really friendly and welcoming staff. Cosy, self-contained pod, can park right outside the door. Fabulous breakfast, the dog even got his own sausage! Lovely view. Close to the beach and only a short drive to see the Kelpies.
