Second stay at the Castle Hotel did not disappoint the facilities are great with friendly staff, good dining options and the location for an event at Brands Hatch is hard to beat.
We would happily stay there again.
The food was excellent, delicious, the peppercorn sauce which accompanied my steak was sublime... and the chips.... moorishly fabulous.
Breakfast, a full platter of everything, after home made granola compote.... set us up for the day.
A super cosy comfortable bed, we slept, ate and rested well.... A wonderful team of staff looked after us, and our dog. We loved, .... loved our stay
Enjoyed our one night stay the location was perfect for an event at Brands Hatch.
We were very happy with the accommodation, dining options and the staff were polite and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent, as was the service at check in & in the morning.
Our room was perfectly adequate although you have to bare in mind that these unique properties are old and quirky.
Coffee machine and pods in the room was a nice touch.
Lovely character-full old property. Very comfortable beds and good facilities. Excellent staff. High quality chef-prepared food. Friendly people. Only small gripe is the ales were Shepherd Neame - I prefer a range of real ales. (Good pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord London Pride in the neighbouring pub though.)
Work stay, well priced, decent food, good selection of drinks and lovely staff.
I was just a shame I seemed to have a heard of baby elephants in the room above me.
An absolute gem of a pub. The room was tastefully decorated with lots of extra little touches, like tea lights in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the claw foot bath was gorgeous, with toiletries provided and piping hot water. Perhaps a flannel to wash with would be good and the bottom of our mugs were tea stained which was a bit off-putting but that’s all I’d be picky about. The pub is very atmospheric, obviously loved by the locals as it was packed, and the staff were polite and welcoming even though they were very busy. Having on site parking was a big plus. We’ll definitely be back - loved it.
Great staff and well equipped room
The Castle Hotel was easy to find and check was fine. Had dinner in the bar area and the food was really great. The room was large and had all that was required for an overnight stay.
However, in the morning I found that there was not hot water. Very disappointing…
It was a lovely stay , and the room was cosy with great service and brilliant staff.
The Castle Hotel is the perfect village location but close to local Amenities and short distance from major route link's.
All the room's are upstairs, Clean, tidy and very modern victorian in design.
We loved it and the included breakfast too
Lovely setting, hotel and staff. My only grope would be the road noise.
Ideally located for those looking to visit Brands Hatch. Located only about 15 mins from South London which makes travel very easy. Friendly and accommodating staff, highly recommend. Room was warm and the stock of hot drinks was excellent.
This hotel is a real gem. A really bespoke feeling with excellent customer service and a homely feel. I booked the small room which was perfect for my needs as a solo traveller and I loved the fireplace in the bathroom!
Breakfast was lovely and the bar/restaurant is a fine example of an English pub. The chef was also able to handle my difficult dietaries.
Highly recommend this place, also in a really beautiful location and an easy trip from London for a weekend in the country. Thank you.
Room 7 is very special and so right for celebrating your anniversary.will deninately be back again
Everything was perfectly fine
Great 2 night stay at the Castle. Room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was huge with lovely roll top bath and decor was tasteful. Ate in restaurant Sat night, food was ok but servvice very slow
They dont serve food after 4pm on a sunday which we didnt know in advance so had to find somewhere else to eat which wasnt ideal. Overall a great stay and will re book next year
nice rooms and food, I had a room at front of property and was woken at 6am by bin men (or delivery truck).
Excellent fit for what I needed and made to feel very welcome
Lovely hotel with excellent food and friendly staff. Overall the room we had (3) was fine, but the bathroom a little small and a bit tight for the loo. Excellent tea and coffee making facilities.
Small hotel in a very old village. Very friendly, clean and comfortable. I would recommend.
