Great Place to Stay
Pros:

Nice central location to Yarmouth and Hyannis, along with the rest of the Cape. Only 5 minutes from Highway US-6 exit 72. Modernized hotel and rooms, great new amenities. Decent breakfast. My only gripe is that exiting the hotel lot onto Route 28 is a bit hazardous, what with some nasty potholes and difficulties getting out onto the roadway with lots of traffic back and forth (along with hard-to-see traffic coming from the left). I can only imagine how bad this must be during peak summer season.

Fun and relaxing time in Yarmouth with family!
Pros:

Brand new hotel with a nice pool and hot tub. Great breakfast and lovely employees at reception and among the cleaning staff. Nice amenities, including tea and coffee at reception and cookies at night—my kids loved it!

Overall, a very good hotel experience, and we would come back.
Pros:

Clean, upgraded rooms. The breakfast/common room was perfect for our family’s “meeting-up” needs.

Cons:

The ongoing renovation at the hotel meant a few less pleasant, though well managed, visual experiences (elevators, parking areas).

Renovation favors style over functionality & comfort
Pros:

This marks my third stay at the Hampton in West Yarmouth, and the second while under renovation, The newly-remodeled room, a KIng-Bed Suite, was clean and visually attractive, but lacked the amenities I had come to expect from prior stays there. For example, there is no longer a set of drawers to store my belongings. Instead, that piece furniture was removed and replaced by a single unit whose single drawer is at the very bottom of the unit, requiring me to store & bend down low to retrieve my things. (That's not good for a person such as myself, with back issues.) Second, the room is described online as having two chairs, though there was only one (At my request, they brought up a second chair). Third, the TV is situated at a 90-degree angle to the small couch and the bed, meaning you cannot directly face the TV when watching shows. In short, the renovation favors "style" at the expense of functionality and comfort. That's not a good trade-off, and I was uncomfortable throughout my three-night stay.

Nice stay but shockingly expensive to bring a dog!
Pros:

The location is great, close to where I was working. The room was nice and clean.

Cons:

I brought my dog, she’s a little 11 pound terrier. I was shocked by the $75 cost. I did not see it listed on the website so that’s my bad but I think that price is outrageous! I wouldn’t have booked this hotel had I known.

Will be back
Pros:

The friendly welcome on arrival the girl at the front desk was so nice. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager. She was also friendly . The guy who cooked breakfast was great and helpful as well

Cons:

The hotel was getting some upgrades but it didnt really bother us everyone was nice and it was clean.
