Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was what you expect for a continental breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It is a on the noisy side but that's to be expected for where it is located. We have no complaints. To be honest, it actually exceeded our expectations for the price!

Our room had two beds one bed had three pillows on it the other had four, upon checkout they said we stole one pillow and charged us $50 for a pillow they didn’t give us. I would think twice before staying at another one of there places. Like who is gonna steal a pillow

Being in three rooms over two days is unacceptable. I deserve some money back for my stay.

The first room they assigned me to, there was someone sleeping in the bed when i walked in. The second room they assigned me the heat didn’t work and was blowing cold air. I asked them to repair. After sitting in the cold all day and night they moved me to a third room with a smaller bed.

Everything was 👍 great
Pros:

I was in town to attend my nephew, Richard Jr, funeral. Three weeks prior was his dad's funeral, my older brother, Richard Sr. I was grieved beyond words and exhausted from it all. The staff had no idea what I had experienced. I was very hungry as well. From the moment I entered the property I received excellent service. The front desk clerk, Dana, was very professional and welcoming. She went above and beyond her job. I told her I was very hungry and tired and needed something to eat close by the hotel. She googled nearby restaurants and assisted me in ordering my lunch. She volunteered to pickup my meal on her break. She said I could go to my room and she'd let me know when she returned. David the Maintenance Supervisor brought it to my room. I worked for Holiday Inn City Centre in downtown Chicago, in the reservation and front desk department. I know what is expected of me as a n employee. I know how the customer/potential client should be served. The lady in the kitchen cooked great meals daily. After breakfast, she served me before the funeral. They all were great‼️

Pros:

I loved how the breakfast was different everyday. The hotel was very close to everything.

Cons:

The housekeepers were very rude. We told them multiple times we had a late checkout and they kept banging on our door trying to force us to leave. Mind you checkout was at 11 and we asked to leave at 12. They came to my door at 10:30!! Also the WiFi sucked ! It never worked at all which was an inconvenience for me to watch tv or work on my computer. I’m glad my phone comes with hotspot because the hotel wifi was worthless.

It was a pleasant stay in a nice area.
Pros:

It was a nice room, loved that the beds were is separate areas.

Cons:

Pool wasn't available a lot of the time, got charged again for the room after I already paid on booking.com. that money has yet to be returned to me.

the room is ok because there is a privacy between beds however the air-conditioning unit is facing the bed and very uncomfortable the air blowing towards you

Pros:

Bath tub was dirty and the floor was dirty, the bed was so jacked up it was terrible. The mattress needed to be replaced years ago.
