It was nice hotel 😀👍
Good hotel for stopping when touring the north. Reasonable parking and late leaving prices. Very helpful staff
Good
Arrived late easy check in staff friendly and polite. Hotel looking dated around the edges.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, which is what matters most.
Expedia said that there is parking, but, it didn't say that if you book through Expedia, then they charge you £5 per night.
Good
Excellent, helpful and friendly receptionist and generally excellent staff.
Breakfast was great. Staff lovely.
The bed was so uncomfortable! We had no sleep ! , pillows awful .
Shower small and very tattered!
No happy at all for what I paid
A decent enough motorway hotel.
Room was clean amd tidy and could not hear the busy M6 motorway.
Breakfast was buffet style but plentiful which a good choice.
Bed was comfy enabling a decent nights sleep
Good hotel
Good staff
Nicely situated
Clean rooms, easy parking and convenient location.
No hot water to shower, room 124
Carpet had burn marks.
The cleanness of the room and bathroom and duvet are just cotton sheets not the best
recently stayed at Ramada during my trip to Blackpool, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive always ready to help with any request. The room was clean, spacious, well-equipped and had a great comfortable bed/modern amenities.
Great stop off especially with an EV. Superb value for basic but clean, practical facilities with friendly staff. Always use it when travelling long journeys north or south.
Excellent stay friendly staff
We booked a 3 night stay at the Ramada in order to attend a wedding in Chorley.
Our stay started off well, with a smooth check in process and clear communication from the receptionist. However, we were disappointed with a few things that we experienced from then on.
Starting with the bathroom - there was an issue with the sink in that the water struggled to drain. It threw up a strange substance, which would be left in then sink bowl once the water had finally drained. It looked like it could have been food, and caused a bad odour.
Secondly, there was shampoo included in the shower caddie, but for some reason, they didnt think to add conditioner as well, so if you want more than a half job when washing your hair, I'd suggest to bring your own, otherwise the only option at the hotel is to buy a mini for £1.75.
There were no other problems with the room itself, other than the fact that it seemed to be located above where the staff take their breaks. We had no issue with being able to hear them chatting, but unfortunately the cigarette smoke travelled up into our room through the window.
You could argue that we could have closed it, but the room was too warm, and the only other way of staying cool was through using the small desk fan. You needed both to feel any benefit.
Lastly, during the morning of our departure, we decided to have our breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Big mistake. Sadly, there aren't enough characters remaining to further explain this experience.
I hadn’t read the booking correctly and didn’t realise I’d have to pay £20 for the dog and £5 parking. They said I’ if I’d booked direct I wouldn’t have to pay parking. Room was comfortable and clean bedding. Food was lovely and staff really nice. Breakfast in the morning was really nice. Would def stay again
Excellent location just off the M6 motorway, staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. Shower could have been a bit more comfortable. The only thing i dont understand is the £5 charge for Parking. The hotel has its own grounds outwith the main services parking so the only people using the car park are hotel guests. Its at a motorway services so no one can access the hotel without a vehicle so the extra £5 for parking is a bit of a joke, I would feel better if it was just £5 extra onto the hotel cost and hidden rather than feeling like a rip off
