Wouldn’t choose to stay there again

Staff were all helpful

Cons:

No AC. Was a very hot day but the room was extremely hot and very limited ventilation.
Fan was provided by the hotel but slow to cool the room and too loud to leave on.

House keeping and maintenance below average.

Extractor didn’t work in bathroom and the main lights in the bedroom kept switching off

Good bed but generally a cheap & nasty hotel

It was close to where we wanted to go

Cons:

Tv didn't work when we got there & during the 2 man repair when it was removed behind it was disgusting.
The shower control was so stiff my wife couldn't operate it, the shower door closed at the bottom but left a 1 inch gap at the top through which water leaked.
All the shower structure joints were very badly corroded & filthy.
The fire exit door on the lower ground floor was permanently wedged open with a road cone! I checked it at 22.00 and again at 06.00 & both times it was open so it's fair to assume it had been open all night with resulting fire safety risk & worse still a major risk of intruders on the lower floor.
Our room was 004 & I have supporting photos.

Stayed here for the f1 at Silverstone. Handy location, but mortified I was charged over £250 a night for such an awful e

Relaxed atmosphere

Cons:

The bathroom smelt terrible. No extraction in there so constantly damp. Dirty shower floor. The food in the restaurant was terrible. The pie I had was rock hard and the inside looked like raw innerds. The mash was from a tub that looked like it had been there a long time.
