Unterkunft mit Charakter
Pros:

Das Ambiente in der alten Festung ist einmalig. Wir waren noch nie in einer vergleichbaren Location. Wir hatten eine Suite mit mehreren Fenstern mit Ausblick über den ganzen Ort, besonders abends ist das sehr zu genießen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und sehr sauber. Das Bad erschien renoviert und modern. Wer ein charaktervolles Hotel mag, wird diese Unterkunft lieben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Leider etwas hellhörig. Die Bettdecken waren nur halbseitig bezogen und der Bezug löste sich andauernd von der Bettdecke. Wir würden lieber Bettbezüge nutzen, die sich verschließen lassen.
Zur Zeit unseres Besuchs war es sehr windig, unter Umständen kann dies beim schlafen stören.

Wonderful Hotel in an incredible location Kudos to the team
Pros:

Absolutley beautiful hotel inside an old fortress in the middle of this fantastic medieval town. Rooms were comfortable and clean, bathrooms were big. The staff were fantastic and so helpful with walks and what to do in the area. Location is superb. Breakfast was delicious and so much to chose from, we also had dinner there one night which was a bit pricey but the food was very good. The ambience of the place has such a WOW factor from the decor to the views from the rooms.

Ciao hanno fatto pagare il deposito biciclette in un magazzino della struttura. Mai pagato nel soggiorno precedente. 50 euro +Iva (!) per 6 bici. Abbiamo consimato una birra appena arrivati. 9 euro anche qui +Iva. Assurdo ..

Piacevole scoperta
Pros:

Abbiamo alloggiato per una notte in questo hotel che si trova proprio dentro la fortezza di Sorano. Il posto è bellissimo e molto comodo sia per parcheggio (pochi minuti a piedi) che per visitare il paese. Lo staff è stato molto disponibile e gentile, fornendoci anche cartine e indicazioni sui posti da visitare. Cristiano, il proprietario, è stato sempre presente e ci ha trasmesso tutta la sua passione per questo luogo e questo lavoro; inoltre ci ha accompagnato nella visita alle cantine con degustazione di vini di sua produzione (extra a €24 pp) raccontandoci molto della storia di queste terre. Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante dell'hotel (EnoRistrò), che ci sentiamo di consigliare (per chi pernotta è presente uno sconto del 5%). La colazione a buffet era abbondante, variegata e di ottima qualità. La nostra camera era ben arredata, pulita e con una vista bellissima sul borgo.

Incantevole
Pros:

Hotel della Fortezza è un posto incantevole e suggestivo. Il personale molto preparato e professionale ti mette da subito a tuo agio con descrizione della Fortezza e dei borghi vicini. Eccellente e abbondante la colazione. Nota di merito al ristorante annesso dove si mangia divinamente con prelibatezze del luogo. Un grazie di cuore a Cristiano e Silvia per la loro gentilezza e disponibilità.
Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare presso questa struttura e di visitare Sorano, Pitigliano e la magica Sovana.
P.S. è molto romantico.

This is the best place to stay to explore this area.
Pros:

We loved the location. Being in a fortress is a unique experience and it was quiet and close to everything.

Cons:

Understanding that this is an ancient building I was not expecting all the features of a new structure. We had to carry our suitcases but I have to mention that staff offered to help.
