Pros:

Hotel storico a due passi dal mare, in posizione tranquilla. La camera era grande con un bagno nuovissimo e appena rifatto, di dimensioni molto maggiori alla media. L'hotel ha un ottimo ristorante, molto frequentato, ma dove viene sempre riservato un tavolo a chi alloggia per la notte. È presente anche un caratteristico pub al piano terra aperto a tutti, dove bere una buona birra o un whisky dopo cena.

Poor room and facilities. Not worth price paid.
Pros:

The staff we met were lovely and we enjoyed being by the sea.

Cons:

Room 15, ground floor. Shower cubicle small, old, low pressure. Electric switch in ceiling over shower a worry.
Bed was a double and duvet likewise, difficult to cover two people.
Windows, 2, both enabling people to see into the room easily. No privacy unless curtains drawn.
Premises locked at night, no staff on site. Need to phone certain number so they could attend 15-20 mins estimate.
Booked for 2 nights but felt we didn't want to stay so we moved to hotel 5 miles away so we lost second night fee of £124.
Management noted our comments but no contact to date.

A very pleasant place to stay.
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We had a pleasant evening meal in the restaurant, which although it was busy was very well organised, and the service was very good. The location is good for visiting places along the coast, as well as visiting the city.

A lovely place that we really enjoyed!
Pros:

The Cove Bay is beautifully located by the sea, with a lovely atmosphere and wonderful views.
Breakfast is freshly prepared with great care and attention, and you can really tell that a lot of love goes into it.
The staff have that wonderfully direct and no-nonsense Scottish manner – firm at times, but always friendly, warm and likeable. It definitely added to the charm of our stay.

A wonderful beautiful hotel with great people

The staff the owners all genuine friendly people. Loved snooker in the bar and fabulous hospitality including breakfast.

Tolle Unterkunft, wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, die Zimmer waren Top, das Essen abends im Restaurant war wirklich empfehlenswert und auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen
