Pros:

For the value of room rates I paid, I can't complain. They even allowed an early c/in. Breakfast buffet seems a bit overpriced for the selection of meal choices. It's a bit disappointing to find out that they can't make a flat white, let alone choose plant based milk for those with lactose intolerance. I paid 20 AED for an awfully tasting cappuccino. At night, people talk loudly while they walk through the corridor. There are clubs in the hotel and that probably explain why so.

The staff were nice and friendly. The hotel is old and smelly, I had to wash all my clothes after leaving to get the damp smell out. The mattress was uncomfortable. The food was terrible, never again!

I will skip it next time i am in town
Pros:

I dont recommend it. There were over 5 night clubs in it with loud music until 4 am everyday. The front desk are not friendly at all. I asked for an iron twice and they ignored me.

We found the staff rude and unhelpful, we were disturbed by a women yelling at 3.30am one night for about 20 minutes, no apology or explanation as to what was going on. Bell service was a rip off, we asked for a taxi and he put us in a private car wanting to charge us a premium price. We booked a tour through the hotel and wasn't what we paid for, had to pay extra on the tour for some extras and we were put in the two back seats with no leg room for over 3 hours. When we asked for a partial refund the concierge was disinterested in our experience and said that was the price for busy time, even though it wasn't a busy time. Food and Beverage staff at breakfast were unfriendly and appeared like they didn't want to be there. We were told on arrival they were doing renovations we were not aware of so there would be some noise during the day. Overall very disappointing and won't stay there again.
