Beautiful location and property full of character.
It could have done with a proper shower in the bathroom.
Alles. Prachtige ligging. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk eten. Zeer ruime en comfortabele kamer. En een mooi georganiseerd verjaardagsfeestje voor mijn zoon. Top
I loved the location! Even though we were visiting lake district and it wasn’t as close to towns like Keswick, I loved the surroundings. As I exited my room, I could see sheep and horses and true nature. The staff at the reception were lovely too - the man took us to our room instead of just giving us the keys. I liked the hotel itself, nice rooms with wonderful views!
Everything was perfect!
Great grounds and views
Very helpful staff
Excellent Kippers for Breakfast
Nothing worth mentioning
Beautiful location, stunning scenery, good food and very friendly staff, would definitely stay again
Beautiful hotel and location verry nice
Staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived a little early but was able to check in straight away which was great considering I'd had a long drive. The room was generously proportioned, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Our request for a twin room was accommodated and the bath was much appreciated. We booked to eat in the restaurant and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again.
Our view from the room was a little disappointing in that it was mainly of the air comforting units.
Very comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was very good quality and well cooked.
The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. A hearty plate of food that filled us up for the day. There was a lot of choice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were happy with all aspects of the hotel.
It was comfortable and in a beautiful location
Very nice evening meal
Early continental breakfast
Location amazing breakfast nice
Not anything really
Friendliness. Help with details. Had someone not eating carbs/sugars and they did provide berries that we said could help (we suggested that int the booking information). They also helped repair my hiking boots with tape and with some tourist info!
Nice breakfast ( Full english, salmon based or skipper). Room with character and details. Balcony onto a big scene with lambs, rural view and real feel. Plenty of natural light (even in winter)
Well heated room, confortable beds.
Did not have the chance to enjoy the bar, but some people were there enjoying.
Taste of the berry jam was great.
Continental breakfast was quite simple. No pastries
Toilet: Carpeted! Quite big in space but the shower temperature (long time to heat and variable), pressure and positioning were suboptimal. The toilet door had a window pane covered by a white semi-transparent blind which leaked light into the bedroom, making it awkward for those trying trying to sleep (the room was for 4 people).
Big room (big double + 2), but all wardrobes located far from main bed.
Schöne lage, das zimmer befand sich im gebäude neben dem hotel, grosses zimmer mit 2 einzel betten, grosser parkplatz
Da tezeptionost ebenxaös barkeeper und service machen, ost der service leider nicht der beste.
