Clean good location , nice staff
1. Overview
This hotel is a textbook example of how beautiful grounds and a premium location cannot compensate for broken service standards. Despite the lush territory and Saint‑Tropez atmosphere, the stay is overshadowed by operational chaos, poor staff training, and a complete lack of attention to detail.
2. Location
The location is objectively strong: 20 minutes on foot to the old town of Saint‑Tropez and 5 minutes by car. Close enough to enjoy the area, far enough to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately, the convenience of the location is one of the few things the hotel gets right.
3. Check‑In & First Impressions
Check‑in was disorganized and unprofessional.
The staff failed to explain anything, simply stating the room wasn’t ready and that they would “contact me later.” They never did. I had to return to reception myself to get the room.
This lack of communication and ownership sets the tone for the entire stay.
4. Rooms
The room design is acceptable but unremarkable. Everything you need is technically there, but nothing stands out.
The real issue is the terrible soundproofing. Walls feel paper‑thin, and you hear every door slam and hallway conversation. For a hotel in this price category, this is unacceptable.
5. Facilities
The property itself is undeniably beautiful:
• Expansive, green territory
• Three pools
• Sea views
• Peacocks walking freely
However, the execution is sloppy:
• Pool sunbeds near the restaurant are poorly designed, with cushions constantly sliding off.
• Towels are badly washed, with “clean” ones sometimes arriving damp or stained.
The contrast between the stunning setting and the careless maintenance is striking.
6. Dining
Breakfast
Breakfast is mediocre in both variety and product quality.
But the real problem is — again — the service.
Wrong coffee delivered, sugar never brought, incomplete table setup, forgotten items. These are not isolated incidents; they happen constantly.
Rooftop Restaurant
The rooftop restaurant is decent, and service here is noticeably better.
Still, the pricing feels inflated for what is offered.
7. Service
This is where the hotel completely collapses.
Service is slow, inattentive, and consistently incompetent:
• Orders forgotten or mixed up
• Staff not following through on basic requests
• No sense of urgency or responsibility
• Guests around the property visibly frustrated
It’s clear the hotel suffers from poor management and a lack of training.
For the rates they charge, this level of service is simply unacceptable.
8. Atmosphere & Design
The atmosphere is pleasant — Mediterranean, green, relaxed — and the overall vibe is very Saint‑Tropez.
But the charm evaporates quickly once you interact with the staff or encounter the operational issues.
9. Value for Money
The hotel does not justify its price.
You pay for a luxury experience but receive inconsistent service, poor execution, and constant frustration.
The beautiful territory cannot save the stay.

11. Final Verdict
A hotel with great potential and a stunning setting — completely ruined by unprofessional service and operational negligence.
At the current price point, the experience is nowhere near worth it.
We had a wonderful stay and would like to share a few highlights. First, a special mention for Milene at the reception — she went out of her way to assist us with everything we needed, and we were truly grateful for her warm and attentive service.
The valet team also deserves recognition; they consistently kept our car clean throughout our stay. The staff who handled our luggage were equally excellent and made everything effortless. Housekeeping was outstanding as well — our room was checked nearly twice a day and the towels were always replaced with fresh, clean ones.
The breakfast was delicious, and overall it was a lovely experience. We look forward to returning. Thank you!

Das Personal ist so aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, dass man irgendwann vergisst, wie man selbst Entscheidungen trifft. Man lehnt sich einfach zurück und plötzlich ist alles geregelt – fast so, als hätte das Hotel Gedankenlesen als Service eingeführt.
Die Zimmer: riesig, blitzsauber und so gut ausgestattet, dass man kurz überlegt, dauerhaft einzuziehen. Das Bett war gefährlich bequem – morgens aufzustehen fühlte sich wie ein persönlicher Verrat an.
Das Frühstück ist ein eigenes Erlebnis. Die Auswahl ist so groß und abwechslungsreich, dass man theoretisch den ganzen Tag dort verbringen könnte. Wahrscheinlich könnte man dort frühstücken, Mittag essen, philosophieren und in Rente gehen.
Ein besonderes Highlight: Der Concierge hat uns tatsächlich mit einem Aston Martin in die Stadt gefahren. Spätestens da war klar, dass normales Leben außerhalb dieses Hotels deutlich überschätzt wird.
Auch der Wellnessbereich ist großartig – wunderschön, entspannend und vermutlich der Grund, warum Menschen dort plötzlich sehr langsam sprechen und dauerhaft im Bademantel glücklich aussehen.
Fazit: Dieses Hotel setzt die Messlatte so hoch, dass andere Hotels wahrscheinlich einfach aufgeben sollten.
Ich habe wirklich gesucht. Ernsthaft. Ich wollte irgendetwas finden – einen schiefen Bilderrahmen, ein zu hart gekochtes Ei, einen grimmigen Blick an der Rezeption… aber nichts. Absolut nichts. Dieses Hotel ist erschreckend gut organisiert. Man fühlt sich fast schlecht, wieder abreisen zu müssen.
