Pros:

I saw three roaches at different times during my 9 hours stay at the hotel. roaches in the bathroom and near the bed. I was very disappointed. No action was taken by the hotel staff and the front desk did not seemed surprised.

The room needed painting. The carpet needed cleaning. Their was drug use by a visiting college football team.

The room doors did not close properly and needed to be slammed shut to ensure the door was locked before walking away. Our feet were dirty when we walked around the room barefoot. It took 10 minutes for the water to get warm for a shower. The television did not work properly. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good but the hotel needed some work.

I had made reservations for the wrong day by mistake. Chloe was awesome in helping but took hotels.com an hour to correct. I have stayed at this hotel several times and love it but this time the power went out about 5 which means air was not on, wifi didn't work, room phone did not work, lobby would not pick up cell phone call, elevators did not work and no hot water for shower. Took them 3 hours to get it back on. Wifi never did come back on and nobody apologized or offered a discount at checkout. I was there for business and did not look or feel my best at all.

Solid Hampton Inn experience
Pros:

This location is always great and we always stay here when in Jacksonville. The employees are so nice, the rooms are new and clean and the breakfast is goods.

I already paid $200 for 1 night in this room, they took a $50 security deposit and the room was disgusting ,pool was filled with bugs, and I could keep going

This is the second time that my daughter and I have stayed here for a JSU registration event. Last time, I was disappointed that there was no hot water. But everything else was comfortable and clean. This time - top notch. Room was clean and bedding was crisp with very soft lines. Plenty of hot water and very plush towels. Great place to stay when visiting JSU.
