Probably the best option near Defiance.
Pros:

Easy to find. A short drive to the town.
Very comfortable bed and large room.
Nice dining area with good amenities.

Cons:

The breakfast was just ok. Nothing great at all.

Excellent stay during a stressful time!
Pros:

The property was clean and inviting as well as the front desk clerk being helpful. Due to a storm, we lost power at our home for five days! We chose to stay at Hampton Inn for three of the four nights so we could be more comfortable. Best decision we made!
The complementary breakfast was appreciated as well as the cute little breakfast-to-go bags with the bagel or waffle, fruit, and water in them!

Cons:

The pool and hot tub were great, just wishing the water was a little clearer.
