The best place to stay in Ashland.
Pros:

We always stay at the Stratford when attending OSF. The staff is great, especially Cindy the Stratford's "Ambassador." We love the location because we can walk to the festival easily. Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly, economical - what's not to like?

Great place to stay and check out Ashland!!
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed the hotel a lot. The pool was a great perk for our 4 year old, and our room was very comfortable and great for a small family.

Great space, old worldy feel and new age comforts
Pros:

Love the old school feel of the place. Quality and comfort and a wonderful breakfast. Charm and lots of fun OSF history for those visiting for the Shakespeare festival. GREAT location as well. Walking distance to downtown. New favorite hotel in Ashland!

Cons:

Poor wi-fi reception in our room. No Visio for TV so no closed caption for TV. Situation eventually fixed but we missed our good Sunday shows on PBS.

We were only in Ashland for a night and day but we've stayed many times as we love the town.
Pros:

The location was excellent for walking throughout the town and parking was ample and easy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We didn't use the pool or breakfast room but both looked good. We very much appreciated the water bottle refill stations on both floors:)

Cons:

My only complaint is that my bed was lumpy and the pillows were either super flat or super full. The bedding was very nice.
