Extremely disappointing. Maybe another room off the ground level would have been nicer?
Pros:

The hotel is located within walking distance of the downtown restaurants. The staff were very welcoming and nice.

Cons:

The HVAC system was extremely loud. Since we were on the first floor facing the main street we did not feel safe opening the windows all night but we could not use the HVAC. It was too loud even with earplugs.
The room was also half underground with a dugout window facing a cement wall; no view, lighting was terrible. The pillows were so fat and hard we slept without pillows.

Less money and much, much nicer than the hotel we stayed in the tonight before.

It was fine. Ashland is a sweet place.
Pros:

Perfectly located. Pool room and breakfast room were nice.

Cons:

Our particular room was like a dungeon (125), really dark and down below with facilities and employee locker room. Would’ve like a choice of room.

Great location for the OSF and within walking distance of many places.
Pros:

Great front desk people. Excellent breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. I like that the breakfast room was open all day - nice and airy with view - great place just to relax out of the room. Also - totally like having the "water station" available 24/7 - hot and cold!

Cons:

The lighting in the room was a tad dark.

This hotel offers all the basics in a friendly, thoughtful manner. Would definitely stay here again.

An excellent stay with only one complaint
Pros:

Everything was quite nice as typical. I’m a frequent visitor. I had just one issue as explained below.

Cons:

There was a terrible smell coming from the microwave. It permeated the whole room, especially when I tried using it. It smelled like fish. I told the staff upon my departure.

We'd like to stay here again.
Pros:

Two comfortable reclinable chairs to sit in by the window, with a view of the mountains across the valley. Comfortable beds. Drinking water available all day outside the dining area, hot water and coffee as well. Nice pool and hot tub area. Spacious breakfast room with ample food.

Cons:

The bathroom fan did not work. Reported it and they offered to have it fixed that evening but we didn't want the interruption. It should be fixed for the next occupants.
