Decent hotel in Evanston
Pros:

The staff was great friendly and helpful especially the lady helping with breakfast.

Cons:

The room was a little dated. They still had some areas of that were not finished.

Right now, I’d say it’s a three star hotel. Did not have any yogurt or fruit for breakfast. My key card quit working aft

Location, close to freeway

Cons:

No, bathrooms on first floor. They tried to upcharge me on a suite. I specifically asked to be on 2nd floor, and the woman said ok, we can do that. But when I showed up, they had me on the fourth floor in a suite. I got her to switch me to a cheaper room on the second floor luckily

Pros:

Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet. Breakfast was awesome!!

Cons:

Shower was old and in disrepair. Exercise room was closed due to remodeling.

Tesla charger
Pros:

If you are going to have a Tesla charger station at your hotel, at least let the drivers use your bathroom. We are in the middle of no where with not much around. I have 3 hours until my next Tesla charger stop, I’m pregnant, with a toddler who needs a diaper change. Open a little shop with some snacks and drinks, you’d make a ton of money from the drivers who stop to charge. Bad business to turn people away from a simple bathroom.

Elevation was Broken, not their fault but renovation made us skip breakfast.

This place top notch we will be back !
Pros:

Loved this place! This was done right, and they were remodeling but it was safe ,clean,never heard any construction sounds. Breakfast was tops,kid friendly. Close to everything.

Cons:

Says there was a pool online. Everyone put there suits on to so swimming was looking for the pool asked the front desk and she’s like that’s been gone didn’t you know that.

Good stay at Hampton
Pros:

The property was vey clean and the staff was wonderful. 4 towels in a room with 2 queen beds was great too. The in room coffee was wonderful.

Cons:

The beds were ok but not comfy soft.
