La piscine naturelle est incroyable, le personnel est au petit soin, le calme de l hôtel (malgré la proximité de l aéroport qui ne gêne pas du tout), le petit déjeuner et le restaurant était très bon.

Dass der große Aussenpool kein Wasser hatte. Wir wollten am anderen Pool nicht stören, weil es da recht ruhig war und drei Kinder wahrscheinlich zu laut gewesen wären.
Quiet luxury with old-money charm. This is my conclusion for the Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club. It exudes elegance, sophistication, and impeccable taste in every detail. From the moment I arrived, I felt as though I was staying at the private seaside residence of an affluent family rather than at a hotel. There is a an exclusivity that makes you instantly feel at home.
The property is immaculate. Every corner is spotless, beautifully maintained, and cared for with remarkable attention to detail. It’s evident that the team takes great pride in preserving the hotel’s exceptional standards. Everything feels refined, polished, and effortlessly luxurious.
The setting is breathtaking. Perched above the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel gives the unique sensation of being aboard a magnificent yacht, gently anchored above the sea. Waking up to the endless ocean views was an unforgettable experience.
One of the highlights is the natural ocean swimming pool, which is a hidden gem. Swimming while surrounded by the Atlantic and dramatic coastal scenery was one of the most memorable moments of my trip.
The lush tropical gardens and pathways at the entrance add another layer of beauty to the property. The mature palms and exotic plants create a tranquil atmosphere that feels distinctly Madeiran and unlike anywhere else I have visited.
The staff were exceptional. As I was celebrating my birthday, the team and manager offered me with a beautiful birthday cake and a complimentary room upgrade. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that made my stay even more special and is something I will always remember. Thank you to the lovely receptionist, General Manager - Mr Diogo and the Albatroz team.
I also admire the hotel’s yacht emblem. It adds to the hotel’s unique identity. If you’re looking for understated elegance, impeccable service, spectacular ocean views, and an atmosphere of timeless refinement, Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club is simply outstanding.
The Albatroz Hotel is wonderful, cozy, clean, and peaceful. All you see before your eyes is the ocean. If you don't like human anthills, this is the place for you. Many years ago we stayed at this hotel, and ever since then we always come back here. But the most important thing that sets the Albatroz Hotel apart is its professional team of staff. Everyone on this team does everything possible and even more to make hotel guests feel truly welcome. Many thanks to all the hotel staff! We had a wonderful time, thanks to your work. We will gladly return.
The vacation ended too quickly.
Top location (both the hotel and to visit the island), quiet, best sea views, perfect to relax and enjoy great food at the restaurant. The pool by the sea is simply an amazing experience. The hotel staff is so nice, so helpful and so welcoming. We liked all of it!
So aufmerksames und nettes Personal. Das Restaurant Hibiskus im Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Jedes Essen hat geschmeckt.
Die Lage selber großartig und perfekter Ausgangspunkt um nach Madeira aufzubrechen, da direkt an der Via rapida, dennoch sehr ruhig dabei. Der Flughafen gleich im Rücken.

Everything was perfect!
Great for an overnight stay after arriving late into the airport. Airport transfers were very quick, and the hotel garden and pools by the ocean were peaceful and beautiful. Helpful staff made our stay perfect!
