Fantastik vistelse på Albatroz! Magisk utsikt över havet vart man än tittar. En helt otrolig havspool därtill. Supertrevlig personal och mat i högsta klass. Kommer definitivt hit igen!
The rooms are large and look out on the ocean. The staff are very nice and accommodating. And the included breakfast was extensive and delicious. The hotel is quiet and has very nice facilities. Top notch!
Es war ein wundervoller kurzer Aufenthalt. Wir worden von allen Seiten extrem verwöhnt! Das Personal ist überdurchschnittlich, da ich viel reise, kann ich das beurteilen und würde hier mehr als 10 Punkte geben.
Auch die Massagen wurden mit viel Liebe und medizinischen Kenntnissen durchgeführt. Der Meerwasserpool einfach Klasse!

Die Lage und das unfassbar nette Personal.
Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass so nah am Flughafen und einer vierspurigen Autobahn keine Lärmbelästigung vorhanden ist. Ich war absolut skeptisch und habe mir vorher einige Rezensionen durchgelesen, als ich auf Google Maps gesehen habe, wo das Hotel liegt. Aber ich kann nur sagen: absolut ruhige Lage. Sobald man auf dem Gelände ist, hört man nichts mehr.
Es ist alles schon ein bisschen spartanisch im Gastrobereich. So eine richtige südländische Atmosphäre will da nicht aufkommen, wenn man im Winter dort ist. Ein „Refurbishing“ ist meines Erachtens dringend notwendig.

Staying here now. First time away for Christmas and it has lived up to our best expectations. The hotel is small and quiet. The staff are so attentive and nothing is a problem. Our sea view room was everything we needed, the view is incredible, you are literally on the edge of the ocean. Sunrise over the islands is stunning. Breakfast is more than adequate with a choice of hot and continental. The restaurant is of high standard for evening meals. We didn’t do lunch but others did and it looked great. The sea pools are beautiful albeit a little chillily this time of year. The pool on the terrace is heated and we were treated to some incredible sunshine, including Christmas Day where we spent the day swimming and sunbathing. Christmas diner was first class. We were treated to a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates to our room on Christmas Eve and most nights we had a little snack brought to our room when the maids turned down our beds. Funchal within easy access by cab or bolt and Santa Cruz is an easy stroll away.
Would highly recommend this as a hidden gem from the hustle and bustle of Funchal.
Bardzo dobre śniadania trochę wkurzające jest to ,że czekało się na kawę lub herbate bo kelner podawał. Chyba lepszym rozwiązaniem są ekspresy samoobsługowe.
Extrem freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter und Manager im Hotel und im Restaurant. Alle waren sehr bemüht uns den Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen.
