Everything as expected and met our needs. Lovely place.
Pros:

Lovely friendly staff, great location, very clean room and property. Pictures didn't show how small the room was but otherwise were accurate in terms of the layout, features and design. The beds were also super comfortable.

Cons:

The Quadruple room was a bit too small for four full grown people to move around comfortably without getting in each other's way. If it was a couple and two little kids, it would probably be fine.

Clean comfortable and excellent value
Pros:

We were looking for a clean and comfortable hotel with parking, within a short walk of the BIC, for a one night stay after a concert. The Applewood Hotel fitted the bill perfectly, a 10 minute stroll away. The hotel was clean, comfortable and excellent value. It had easy entry access for a late night return after the concert and an early getaway in the morning. Would certainly stay here again.

It provided everything we were looking for.

Pros:

Die Lage ist toll: alles fussläufig erreichbar (auch mit Kindern), aber schön weg vom Trubel und ein Garten in dem die Kinder rennen können

Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, welches sehr geräumig und sauber war. Man konnte am Vortag sein Frühstück auswählen, das einem dann am Morgen serviert wurde. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Wir haben von einem Freitag auf Samstag dort übernachtet. Nachts haben einige Menschen draußen sehr lautstark geredet/gestritten. Die Gegend war okay.

The bed was large and extremely comfortable.
The bathroom was lovely and clean. Well the whole room was. Everyone was so very friendly.

Great Hotel and I’ve already booked to stay again later in the year
Pros:

Good location for nearby pubs and restaurants. Parking on site. The room was very comfortable and clean with tea and coffee facilities. Staff were very welcoming. The price is very good value for money.

Cons:

It was exceptionally hot weather so even with the fan provided and window open it was still warm in the room.

Freundlicher Empfang

Cons:

Unser Auto wurde n der Nacht ausgeräumt . Hotelpersonal meinte, das käme öfter vor, die Polizei würde aber nichts tun. Das Hotel selbst sollte dringend für mehr Sicherheit sorgen oder zumindest die Gäste explizit darauf hinweisen, wirklich alles mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen und nicht einfach hinnehmen, dass dies immer wieder passiert.

Warm welcome and easy check in.
Free and convenient parking was a real bonus.
Clean and comfortable room - there was a heatwave during our stay, the addition of a fan was really appreciated, as were the blackout curtains.
We enjoyed evening drinks in the lovely, child friendly garden.
We are a family of 4 (two sons, both aged 6)
Would re-visit and recommend Applewood.
The closest beach wasn't for us but as previous noted, there was a heatwave and it was a bank holiday weekend, so VERY busy. We used Applewood as a base to explore Brownsea Island and Southmouth - would recommend both for a visit if travelling with young children.

Cons:

No negatives from us but we thought a mini fridge would be a lovely addition to the room.
