The Parkside Hotel & Spa

My family—my wife and our active toddler—and I planned a staycation in March 2026, which was a bit of a ‘forced’ one to get our home fixed. We had an absolutely wonderful time at The Parkside. What really made us choose this hotel was how their suites made us feel like we were at home. They had a proper fridge, a stove and oven and suites that were tastefully clean. The atmosphere was just perfect, and the location, along with all the amenities and Tre Fantástico, made the stay ideal. We were able to continue our lives while enjoying the facilities, like the fitness centre and pool.

If I ever need a staycation or have family visiting, The Parkside will definitely be our first choice

Our first visit to Victoria. The Parkside is a super hotel, ideally situated for easy access to the town centre, all its amenities and transport links.

The suite style room gives you complete flexibility to eat out or in your room with a well equipped kitchenette.

We chose to cook ourselves as we have been eating hotel food for too long. They equipment provided enabled us to cook what we wanted easily.

The bed was super comfortable and the room beautifully clean and quiet.

All the staff we encountered were lovely and treated us so well. A big thanks mbs up to you all.

So wonderful, great location, love love the design of the hotel and the rooms are wonderful. The fish pond and garden make it feel so special.

Beautiful, clean and well appointed hotel.
The lobby has amazing ambiance with a koi pond and lush greenery. Accomations are basically a small apartment with dishwasher and even a small washer dryer! Great walkable location. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Personally, I found the mattress too firm. I took a chance and called down for a mattress topper which was sent promptly. Housekeeping set it up. If you like a softer bed i recommend requesting one ahead of time.
Note that the restaurant/café is not part of the hotel so there is no official room service.

Beautiful hotel in a great location close to everything in downtown Victoria. Staff were friendly and courteous and our suite was spacious and well-appointed.

The suite feel of the room was perfect. We felt like it was home away from home. Lovely cafe in the lobby. The location is walking distance to restaurants and museums. Nice getaway

It was so perfect for a family of four with two toddlers all the amenities inside the suite was great asides the old TV sets!

Parkside never disappoints... we booked a staycation here once again, and had an amazing weekend. Booked out the theatre to watch the hockey game which was awesome, then relaxed in the pool and hot tub before ordering in wood fired pizza to the room. The layout of the 2 BR suite was perfect for our family of 5. Tons of space and all the amenities. Staff were amazing as always. Thanks Parkside!

The Parkside is an exceptional experience. From the koi pond when you enter to the well-appointed and comfortable, clean rooms; we had a wonderful time. My husband and I had a large deck off our room which we would have loved to sit on and soak up the sun had there been any (that's what happens when you go in January on the "wet coast" - RAIN!) and look forward to booking again when we can enjoy it. We both had spa treatments and the facial I had was one of the best I've experienced. The pool area is bright and clean, the lobby a truly calming place to sit and read and enjoy a cup of tea. Best part is that every single staff person we connected with were friendly and helpful.

My experience at The Parkside Hotel was fantastic. I truly appreciate the sustainable approach they take from recycling, laundry, no water bottles in sight - just cool fresh tap water, to the rooftop garden. They also have a pool. a great coffee shop with good food, and lovely relaxing lobby space.

Awesome convenient location to everything - stayed there second year for a hockey tournament and it’s always a pleasure to interact with staff - very helpful with suggestions

Excellent hotel with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We loved the pool, and the fish in the atrium make it magical.

Noise level was very quiet. The cleanliness could have been better, there was someone else's hair on the shower walls and toilet. The lamps on either side of the couch and bed were a bright white rather than a warm white which was not comforting. The towels were so rough I couldn't wipe my skin without leaving red streaks. We had the heat turn off but it still stayed over 23° , even with the windows open. The decor was inviting and warm. The kitchen was stocked very well with useful utensils. The location is great as we walked to dinner within a few minutes.

This is a wonderful suites hotel with many amenities and a great location, close to the harbor, shopping and museums. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Bikes and helmets are available without charge. The pool is larger than normal and lanes are marked for lap swimmers. Though the coffee shop is not managed by the hotel, the location and offering are a real bonus. The suites are large and have 2 bathrooms, a washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. Our corner suite had many windows and a large patio, a deep soaking tub, and a very comfortable bed.
We truly appreciated the award winning "green" status and the storied Canadian friendliness.

We had a great experience. Beautiful hotel, great amenities, and wonderful surprises throughout. Would definitely recommend for families. There was a Lego village for the holidays and the pool was great. The fitness room was well stocked too.
