The Parkside Hotel & Spa

The Parkside is an exceptional experience. From the koi pond when you enter to the well-appointed and comfortable, clean rooms; we had a wonderful time. My husband and I had a large deck off our room which we would have loved to sit on and soak up the sun had there been any (that's what happens when you go in January on the "wet coast" - RAIN!) and look forward to booking again when we can enjoy it. We both had spa treatments and the facial I had was one of the best I've experienced. The pool area is bright and clean, the lobby a truly calming place to sit and read and enjoy a cup of tea. Best part is that every single staff person we connected with were friendly and helpful.

My experience at The Parkside Hotel was fantastic. I truly appreciate the sustainable approach they take from recycling, laundry, no water bottles in sight - just cool fresh tap water, to the rooftop garden. They also have a pool. a great coffee shop with good food, and lovely relaxing lobby space.

Excellent hotel with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We loved the pool, and the fish in the atrium make it magical.

Noise level was very quiet. The cleanliness could have been better, there was someone else's hair on the shower walls and toilet. The lamps on either side of the couch and bed were a bright white rather than a warm white which was not comforting. The towels were so rough I couldn't wipe my skin without leaving red streaks. We had the heat turn off but it still stayed over 23° , even with the windows open. The decor was inviting and warm. The kitchen was stocked very well with useful utensils. The location is great as we walked to dinner within a few minutes.

This is a wonderful suites hotel with many amenities and a great location, close to the harbor, shopping and museums. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Bikes and helmets are available without charge. The pool is larger than normal and lanes are marked for lap swimmers. Though the coffee shop is not managed by the hotel, the location and offering are a real bonus. The suites are large and have 2 bathrooms, a washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. Our corner suite had many windows and a large patio, a deep soaking tub, and a very comfortable bed.
We truly appreciated the award winning "green" status and the storied Canadian friendliness.

We had a great experience. Beautiful hotel, great amenities, and wonderful surprises throughout. Would definitely recommend for families. There was a Lego village for the holidays and the pool was great. The fitness room was well stocked too.

From the welcoming reception in the beautifully decorated lobby, easy and convenient parking, clean, spacious and well appointed rooms - this was a most enjoyable and relaxing stay. The location makes it easy to walk pretty much anywhere downtown/inner harbour area. Great value if you want to stay in and chill, or head out for a walk and some shopping/dining. Pleasant, professional staff. Have been here many times over the years - will definitely choose to return next year!

what a gem tucked near the water and close to beacon hill park. its a beautiful facility, with wonderful staff. Took my dog, they had treats, a bed and bowl. He and I had a blast. He was a wee bit too interested in the koi pond ;0) We give it 4 paws.

We recently stayed at Parkside, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. We were greeted by an associate in training who couldn’t have been warmer or more welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view—we loved it. Every staff member we encountered was incredible and truly made our stay special.

Excellent location, a suite with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful pool and hot tub area. The cafe was lovely. The Sour Cherry Green Tea Hot Chocolate was wonderful! And so was the wine.

The front-desk staff were amazing, not just at check-in but throughout our whole stay. The location is perfect for walking around downtown. The pool, hot tub and gym were excellent and never too busy, even on the weekend. I have nothing bad to say, would absolutely go back.

Very friendly service, great central location, but also very quiet! Very clean and the suite had everything I needed and more - including TWO fireplaces! What a treat!

The Parkside provided us the best pet-friendly experience ever! We booked the luxury one bedroom suite. It was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. It included excellent pet amenities such as a large pet bed, food and water bowls and a bag of treats. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good. The hotel amenities are excellent, but book ahead if you want to get a spa treatment. I highly recommend the Parkside.

Great location, we could easily park our car and walk everywhere downtown! Comfortable rooms and friendly staff! Great coffee shop and rooftop deck s’mores experience is worth doing.
