Ayasofya Hotel - Special Class

I recently stayed at a lovely B&B in Istanbul, and overall it was a really positive experience. The location was definitely the highlight – it was within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions, which made exploring the city so easy and stress-free. Being able to step outside and quickly reach places like the main historical sites, shops, and restaurants was incredibly convenient.

The B&B itself was clean, comfortable, and had a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were well-maintained and provided everything needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with directions or recommendations, which made the experience feel more personal.

Breakfast was a nice touch, with a good variety of options to start the day. It felt authentic and added to the overall charm of the stay.

If I had to mention anything, it would be that, like many central locations, it could get a little busy or noisy at times – but that’s expected when you’re right in the heart of such a vibrant city.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially if you want somewhere convenient, comfortable, and close to all the main sights.

An extraordinary experience. The hotel service was beyond perfect. The warmth of the staff is exceptional. The hotel manager, Ece, spared no effort in making us feel right at home. She advised us daily on our itinerary, allowing us to make the very most of our stay. The hotel is in a prime location... I will definitely stay here again on a future visit to Istanbul

I really enjoyed my stay at Ayasofiya Hotel Special Class. The place felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed to relax.

What made the biggest difference was the staff — everyone was friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile. A special thank you to ECE, who was incredibly kind and made me feel genuinely welcomed.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the area.

Wow, what a lovely hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included which was very nice, plenty of Turkish dishes to try along with the normal type things. We sat outside on a terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and only 10 mins away from many must see sights including the Blue Mosque.
There are plenty of restaurants on the doorstep and we recommend Little Sofia which is about 3 mins walk away.

We had an amazing experience. The location is really close to everything. The staff was beyond helpful and everyone was friendly.

Nice hotel, clean, good breakfast, near the old city centre (Hagia sophia, blue mosque). Friendly staff- they gave us all informations about city tours itc.

The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Guests are served free coffee and tea, which is a nice touch. The hotel’s location is excellent, as it is close to major attractions such as Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. From the top of the hotel, there is a beautiful view of the sea, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.

20/10 experience at this GEM 💎 of a hotel!!!! From beginning to end ...a WOW factor hotel

We had a few mishaps in Turkey with hotels. For instance, we ran into problems with excessive smoking, and the worst being...very smelly bathrooms. (Problems with drains)

At Ayasofya, everything...and I mean EVERYTHING was absolutely 💯 👌 PERFECT.

Its a non smoking hotel, which, in our opinion, classifies this establishment as a top notch hotel in itself
The entire hotel is spotless. Very very clean. Its also quiet.

The breakfast 😋 😍 is over the top and food in abundance. Choices galore.

The location is perfect.

All of the above makes for the most perfect stay in Isranbul.....but believe us when we tell you. THE BEST PART...THE PEOPLE.
We were served with kindness, love, attention to detail beyond, professionalism and over the top generosity in all things hospitality.

We grew to love each and every staff member as well as the beautiful owners.

It was a sad day when we left. Many hugs....and some tears

It was very beautiful stay, the staff were so warm, everyone is so kind, even my mother using wheelchair they willing to help to guide and to assist until our last day staying in this hotel. Love how they showed the love towards my family. Thank you to all the staff.
