Close to the airport and shops!!
Noisy at night up in the top bedrooms.
Unfortunately there wasn't anything to like.
The unit was extremely dirty to the point we had to go elsewhere to have a hot beverage as the jug was covered in grease. We also went and brought our own pillows from a local shop. The cupboards are falling apart, the shower has a leak in the hose where water was dripping out so the pressure was terrible. The smell of cooking was absolutely horrendous.
Lack of communication where no one answered the phones or replied to emails until we had left to ask for a review as we had left the unit tidy, that is because we couldn't use anything.
Would not recommend unfortunately.

Beds are old, mattress sagging and the wires coming out; beddings are thin as; smelly and pillows are not pillows; smell of old place… can’t use the TV as there’s no instructions for the remote controls; old tv set.

The apartment was really clean and spacious, with allocated parking. Good location. We really enjoyed our stay here.
We had a very disappointing experience at Queenstown Gateway Apartments.
Upon arrival, the apartment was not properly cleaned. The kitchen area was in poor condition, with dirty cutlery and dishes stored as if they were clean, showing grease and food residue. Several items such as the kettle, toaster, shelves, and dish rack also had visible dirt and leftover food. The refrigerator exterior and kitchen cabinets had built-up grease, and overall it was clear that the cleaning had not been done to an acceptable standard.
We arrived late and tired, so we had no immediate option but to stay the first night. However, we had to clean parts of the apartment ourselves just to be able to use it.
What was most disappointing was the response from the property, which dismissed our concerns and suggested that we were exaggerating or trying to obtain a free stay. This felt very unprofessional and unfair.
Due to both the condition of the apartment and the way the situation was handled, we decided not to continue our stay and moved to another accommodation for the second night.
Location and easy access to amenities. Overall comfortable beds and all kitchen utensils were good.
Lack of basic maintenance, e.g. kitchen cupboards are askew, worn hinges, blown light bulbs. Main and kids bedrooms had broken blinds. Bathroom was rundown and staff forgot to change linen as instructed.

Apartment was not clean, furniture, beds, linen all full of dust and looked like not cleaned at all. Amenities provided all substandard and not working at all. Shower poor quality , old fashioned placed over bath tub and had torn shower curtain. Water draining in shower horrible, the whole bathroom became flooded after every shower.

Before I got here I was a bit concerned by some of the reviews .I needn't have worried the apartment was clean, modern and completely self contained . Queenstown was a short bus ride away , the airport walkable and supermarkets a short drive at the nearby shopping centre .The Sky package was a bonus .
I could have done with a tea towel .
