Amazing view. Rooms with balcony. Great for families
The outside area was perfect for sunrise stretching sessions.
Unbeatable view with a pool and loads of space.
Can walk to some local restaurants and convenience shops, up hill, but there are only hilld in Madeira.
Extremely well equipped kitchen. Outside cooking area.
The beach can be reached by cable car, only a short walk away for €4 return or you can walk and get an amazing workout for free. There is a beach bar with some sun loungers on the terrace above the beach of very large pebbles, a bit tricky for some to walk on. When we were there it was much warmer than at the villa as it was sheltered from the wind. The sea was good to swim in if you are confident to walk on the beach.
The owners were really friendly, we didn't need any help from them but I am absolutely sure they would be fantastic you if you needed anything.
The villa is amazing and this is a very good review, but:
Rather inconvenient having to pay all the money in cash, and a lot of cash to carry.
Cannot park directly by the property, on street parking down the hill at least 80 meters, could be more if peak time for visitors to Jesus . It was ok for us to walk, but could be a problem for some.
Would not be that good for families with small children as they would need to be watched at all times in the garden due to no fence for the pool and the gap in the lawn with a long drop to the steps to the lower area with the washing machine etc. Adults watch out too if walking in the garden at night! ⁰Additionally, the villa is full of ornaments that would be very vulnerable to young children's curiosity, causing much stress for their parents!
Jose and Amelia were very kind from the very beginning til the end of our stay. They recommended loads of places to visit and provided everything we requested. The property is gorgeous, even better than on the photos, and has everything you need for a group stay. We genuinely loved it! A car is a must have in Madeira, also as this is a smaller town, but there is a parking on the street next to the house. Highly recommended!
Lovely place, spaciuos house, beautiful view, super friendly owners.
Schönes Haus! Schönen Blick! Sehr ruhige Lage!
Sehr zu empfehlen!
Great villa, good location. A car is strongly advised as situated at the bottom of very steep hill to main street in the resort of Garajau. Great views. Spacious villa. Well kitted out with everything needed in the kitchen. My only comment would be we would have liked more towels, but the host Jose was fantastic.
