Great hotel and location.
Pros:

Great location, requested room allocated, food and drinks great.

Cons:

No staff engagement in reception, checked in and out without any conversation, just "sign here "
Could do with new bedding it's was worn with no fasteners, only 1 pillow on each bed no spares available.

Useful location and great to have a 5-person room, but beds and shower were rubbish.
Pros:

Booking was fine, decent car park, and it was very helpful to have a room that 5 adults could stay in, making our trip cheaper than we had anticipated.

Cons:

Shower was absolutely useless - impossible to have one that wasn't either scalding or freezing. All of the beds were pretty poor - very tired mattresses that collapsed in the middle that all should have been replaced. Maybe slightly concerning that lots of the window braces had been snapped off.

Nice breakfast and decent location for Hampden but some room issues.
Pros:

The bar/restaurant area was nice and we had a very good cooked breakfast.

30 min walk or 5-10 min taxi ride to Hampden.

Cons:

The TV in our room.was damaged and had blacklines down one side of the screen.

The hot tap in the sink was loose and extremely dangerous as the water was boiling hot (there was a Hot Water warning sign) and required two hands to turn the tap off because it was so loose. I reported this to reception during check out.

Great breakfast clean room.
Pros:

Breakfast was really good.

Cons:

Only 1 pillow per person.
Radiator not very good so room was cool. Water only look warm so shower wasn't good. Reported 3 times before hot water sorted. Radiator still wasn't right.
