It was close to dontonbori.
I felt that the area wasn’t the best i probably should’ve done a little bit more research. I would say if you want to stay anywhere go to Kyoto, dontonbori was a bit of a tourist trap and not really worth the time. The rooms were also very out dated and the beds were not very comfortable.
The room was well kept and clean. We were comfortable enough for the nights we have stayed in. It was ultimately convenient too as they had laundry place, so we left the hotel with no dirty clothes. Another best part was they had a massage chair and the entire family benefited from it especially after a looong hours of walking around the town.
Nothing much really.
Great location close to everything.
Good foyer to relax and escape the cold and have a drink.
Many free amenities available - we borrowed an umbrella when it was raining/snowing.
They have good restaurant recommendations too.
The rooms are tiny but that was expected - it’s just a place to rest your head. Get out and see Osaka - don’t stay in your room!
Very good location, good amenities
Nothing
Extremely good value for money, right in the centre of Osaka near the Dotonbori district, all the eateries, massive Don Quijote with the ferris wheel inside and extremely close to all the main transport links, so in this regard the location could not be better. The hotel itself has a lot of free facilities - free sake, alcohol, ice cream and other various drinks with a big hotel lounge making it nice to have a tipple before going out to eat or exploring for the day. It is very clean, and the staff are very helpful and they happily stored my luggage. Also offers breakfast and the front of the hotel is very unique. Interestingly, I went expecting the buzz from the street to be loud but it was reasonably quiet throughout the night.
Small rooms - even as a solo traveller, but this is regular for hotels in both Tokyo and Osaka, so I don’t think this is really a fault of the hotel as I could still do everything I needed to do, though sometimes found it difficult to move around luggage in the rooms. You’d have to get a bigger room if you were a duo, but I was in a single occupancy room so my room size was to be expected. Everything else was more than up to standard.
Location, facilities, the free events
The size of room.
Second time we have stayed here. It is easy to get to and good value. The foyer has free drinks and the breakfast is great. I like that every day the staff do something interesting in the foyer... dressing people up in kimono etc
The hotel location near the Dotonbori canal and the Namba train station were great!
Our room with three single beds was quite small, it was clearly a two bed room with an additional bed pushed between the other two beds, so there was no room between the three beds.
This place great. From the heads at the door to the free ice cream and alcohol in the evening, this hotel has a vibe. The location is on dotonbori Street, one block from the chaos, and it feels very dotonbori.
Rooms are a little small, but that's to be expected in Japan.
Breakfast buffet in the basement wasn't the best with some questionable food choices and some things probably had been our a bit longer than they should have been
Easy to locate, 5 mins walk from train. Close to Kabuki theatre. So many restaurants. And okonomiyake. Loved the massage chair and free coffee, beer and other treats in the lobby.
Nothing
Location was fantastic, the staff were super friendly and nice. Loved the free noodles, coffe and drinks.
The room was a little on the small side for 3 people.
Many activities for guests to participate in
Free soft drink, instant noodles, coffee, wine, beer
Room a little bit small
