Fine.
Pros:

Staff were mostly friendly and helpful, cleanliness was good, but probably the worst water pressure I have ever experienced in a shower in my life. Imagine standing under a watering can with most of its holes clogged up and you will be close to imagining how bad this was.

Pros:

Good, but tired property, dated and in need of TLC... Staff friendly and quirky. Lovely food, with good choice. Good location and very good value. Remember you get what you pay for, this was very reasonable so you should see past the cracks and allow the staff to engage in the good service they offer and ignore thise cracks that the staff do very well to paper over...

Lovely hotel vibe but let down by the room
Pros:

A beautiful 17th century building. Hotel and restaurant spaces feel very quaint. I would definitely recommend the restaurant - the food and vibe felt genuine oldy worldly Italian and the service was really friendly. Delicious too. The staff were so nice and friendly. The only let down was the actual room. We were in what felt like the back of the hotel in a basement area and the room was very bland and not so charming... There was no art on the walls, no armchair, the lamp and telephone weren't working and they only gave us one towel. The bed and pillows weren't super comfy. The room was very basic but it does the job if you're just travelling for work. We were there for a romantic stay so it didn't really fit our brief to be honest, although the hotel itself and restaurants we really loved.

Friendly
Pros:

A friendly homely hotel with a small but comfy room. Hoped for a bath and went to phone reception to see if we change but phone not working-but worked the next day! Desk light not working but mended quickly. Small bathroom with some stains on grount (which cleaned with a fingernail) but very clean apart from that. Shower door slightly broken but didn’t leak or spoil showering. Kettle tray had a moulded space for a kettle but a different kettle was actually present. Room was in basement so window at floor level. Friends in room
In main house which was larger, had a bath and nicer outlook. Probably best to ask for ground or above. Delivery of lorry outside room at 8.15 on Saturday morning- reception explained or is often earlier but it is to provide fresh ingredients -I understand but it was a shame.

Satisfactory for the price but not the best.
Pros:

One night business stay, more like a B&B or motel than hotel standards wise. Was adequate for the money but nothing of note to stand out as an option over my usual local hotel down the road. Breakfast was basic but tasty. Decor in hotel/restaurant needs updating.

Hidden little gem in Yateley
Pros:

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it never disappoints. I attended an event this time and everything was perfect. From the atmosphere to the food all amazing. Staff were lovely, shout out the Rebekah who organised the event, she was amazing. The hotel room is spacious and has everything you need. The bed is so comfortable and makes it hard to leave. Will definitely stay again.

Old but not so Gold
Pros:

The stay was just expected as per website. Old style house with characters. The only downfall is the carpet throughout, old & smelly.
