Expect rustic and charming but bathrooms are in desperate need of renovations, bath especially and the shower pipes had a awful high pitch sound.
The room was a place to lay your head but it was very outdated, we received no new towels or cleaning of our room during our stay. The keys were old school keys and easy to loose and the dining at the hotel was very
mediocre outside of the breakfast sandwiches. I would not stay here again but the scenery outside and the
Staff were absolutely amazing! So many kind and welcoming people
The town of Lund is very small with few shops and restaurant options. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat with great views, staying in the Lund Hotel is a nice option. Pollen Sweaters and Nancy’s Bakery are a short walk away. For boaters getting work done at Jack’s Boatyard it’s less than a mile away and a pleasant walk.
The hotel is in an older building and the rooms were recently renovated. Ours was spacious, nice bathroom and comfy bed and linens. Laurel is an amazing host who never stops making your stay a special and comfortable experience.
We enjoyed the onsite pub which served great food and drinks.
Being located in the harbor also makes for interesting “entertainment” and amazing sunsets. We plan on making the Lund Hotel an annual fall destination.
Front desk staff was friendly upon check-in, but then not really around through out the day. We tracked sand in our room from being at the beach and couldn't get ahold of a broom (no broom in room), also no iron or hair dryer. It's very bare bones. Beds were comfy. It's a very old building, so keep that in mind for sound proofing.
House keeping staff have a lot to learn ,need more training ie.: clean coffee cups every day, water/ drink glasses needed in room , box of kleenex in room, room needed a dusting or wipe down, unit floor needed a vacuum and or mopping, balcony needed wash down badly as result of seagulls visiting,
No early check-in. No signage as to when the office would open. A clear disrespect for the clients. Poor training of staff.
Slightly dated property condition, but right at harbour, good restaurant, and store. We stayed one night but was allowed to park our car for 3 days.
Wonderful location
Our room was small for our group, and the building is obviously old, but it is very clean and the staff were super helpful.
Clean, comfortable great location.
The air conditioner in the room didn’t cool it properly. The bathroom is quite small. The hotel’s location is convenient—close to a grocery store, bakery, gift shop, and it has a lovely waterfront view.
Wow, what a beautiful place! Sunset were amazing and I could see them from my room. The room was clean and comfy, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
Wow, what a beautiful place! Sunsets were amazing and I could see them from my room. The room was clean and comfy, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going back.
This was a very bad experience. When we opened the door, the room was filled with a foul smell that made us feel sick. We chose to leave. It was completely inconsistent with their Google rating. This was a really bad experience.
Harbour views were great. Liked the short walk to Nancy's Bakery for morning coffee and breakfast and the easy access to the water taxis.
Great room, comfy bed, beautiful view. Overall very enjoyable!
My ferry trip was delayed due to a mechanical issue and Expedia would not allow a refund or credit. Bad experience.
Just a beautiful place, surprisingly with everything we needed in one small area. Great breakfast options and coffee at Nancy's bakery just steps away. A lovely pub with pleasant service, a beautiful view of the ocean, and a terrific menu. And another boardwalk restaurant with seafood options and more. Also, right behind the hotel is a beer and wine, and market with all basic needs covered.
To top off, all staff and locals friendly and courteous.
This place is not a resort. It’s more of a motel. The wifi was very poor. But the room was clean. The staff was nice.
