Best Hotel in Lake Garda
Pros:

The place is in the best location in all of sirmione being just outside the castle and the gateway to the old town. The rooms are great, Clean and have wonderful views. I had some of the best sleep of my life here the bed is extremely comfortable. The concierge and the whole staff in general is sooo nice, recommending places and just so helpful. The rooms were kept clean, just the key was so big it was somewhat of an inconvenience but it was not a big hassle. You can access the lake from here and the outside is stunning. One of my favorite hotels ever.

Excellent location and spa/ lake combination was excellent.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast with wonderful views every morning overlooking the lake. Thermal spa pool and frontage into lake - the kids loved the thermal spa pool too and the chance to dip into the refreshing lake for variety. Very attentive poolside/ life guards. There is also an adult only spa area which has the most amazing views and location on the other side of the hotel - could spend days just relaxing at the hotel taking in the outstanding views. Amazing location right next to the Castello.

Cons:

Although not an issue for us (and surprisingly the children) there can be a strong smell of sulphur coming from the naturally infused thermal waters - helpful to be told in advance. // It is a busy junction so one can hear (on the lower floors) early sounds of street cleaning, maintenance operations etc

Perfect in every way.
Pros:

This place is like paradise on earth. It is perfect. Sitting on a sunbed looking out over the lake: doesn’t get much better.

We enjoyed it, it was helped by having great weather and the location was exceptional.
Pros:

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and delicious. Sun loungers, deck and lake swimming brilliant. We loved this and perfect in the heat. Very clear water. Staff Great with well behaved children swimming, had floats. Thermal pool, best for the winter months, as warm and not refreshing - but still very nice. Lots of space. Lovely to have all toiletries provided. Very comfortable beds. Great location, brilliant to escape the crowds, close to everything. Great spa facilities, stunning views onto the lake and beautiful gardens. Really enjoyed our stay.

Das Grand Hotel Terme Sirmione liegt hervorragend: direkt am See und unmittelbar vor der Altstadt, die in zwei Gehminuten erreichbar ist. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen an ein 5-Sterne-Hotel erfüllt.

Der Check-in war freundlich und reibungslos, das Frühstücksbuffet überzeugt mit einer sehr großen Auswahl, und das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Besonders schön ist die Lage am Wasser. Am Steg kann man auf gemütlichen Liegen entspannen, und der Bademeister rückt den Sonnenschirm immer wieder nach, sodass man ausreichend Schatten hat. Die Snacks an der Bar waren sehr gut. Manche Gäste beklagen sich über die hohen Preise – ich halte sie für gerechtfertigt, solange das Haus diesen guten Service beibehält.

Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und geräumig. Zur Straße hin ist sehr gut schallisoliert; vom Verkehr hört man nichts. Ab und zu sind Stimmen im Gang oder im Zimmer darüber zu hören, das blieb aber im normalen Rahmen.

Alles in allem ein gelungener, entspannter Aufenthalt in Sirmione – wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cons:

Es gibt keine negativen Punkte, die wirklich ins Gewicht fallen und eine negative Bewertung rechtfertigen würden.

Exceptional experience
Pros:

Very professional and extremely friendly staff. We appreciated the tour of the hotel facilities and help with booking a private car. The breakfast room had an amazing view and the food was delicious.
