Good location for Aurora viewing base
Pros:

24-hour Shuttle was provided to/from airport and the drivers were very friendly. I called the front desk to request when we arrived and it arrived within 30 minutes. One took my husband back to the airport after we arrived because he had forgotten his Kindle on the plane! We had a room on the 4th floor for a week which was very quiet despite the hotel being very busy. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn fare. All front desk staff were very friendly. We took advantage of the little store near the front desk for water, soda and snacks. We walked to the McDonald's next door but made sure we wore our parkas, gloves and layers due to -30+ weather. Our room smelled like a funky air freshener - maybe they were trying to cover up smoke smell? Our king size bed was very comfortable but the room was a little worn. The shower enclosure had rust and needs to be replaced. The chairs are very deep and I don't know how anyone fits comfortably in them. The 4th floor ice machine did not have ice in it but I took the elevator down one floor. It wasn't a big deal.

We would stay here again.

Usual Hampton Inn Experience
Pros:

We had a nice king suite which was comfortable. They were out of water one day. We left our luggage earlier than check in and they said they would keep it locked but when we got there, the door wasn't even shut! Our laptops, luggage and passports were all there for anyone to access. Everyone was friendly except for one man at the front desk who was outright ugly to me. I mentioned it to my husband when I got in the car and he said the same guy had been ugly to him as well. Breakfast was a normal Hampton Inn breakfast but there was no oatmeal. There were toppings for oatmeal but the big vat was filled with gravy. We are vegetarian so it was a skimpy breakfast for us. I would have no problem staying here again. It was a good location and comfortable room and bed.

Friendly staff clean roooms
Pros:

The staff. They were very kind and helpful. I ask to have my room vacuumed by a staff member. He stopped what he was doing and came and quickly vacuumed my room. I thought highly of this man.

Cons:

The price was a little higher than I expected. I think the free breakfast needed some help. I was disappointed with the food.

こういうホテルだったっけ？！
Pros:

部屋がフロントに近かったので、直ぐに朝食会場に行かれた。
また、大荷物なので移動が短く良かった。

Cons:

数年前も宿泊したことがあるが、こんなホテルだっけ？と戸惑うほどボロかった。
タオルが置いてある棚は髪や埃が溜まっていて全く清潔感がない。そしてタオルも汚い。
テレビは曲がってるし映りが悪い。
カーテンを開けると直ぐそこが駐車場なので開けられない。冬だったので、冷気がすっごく入ってくるのでそもそも開けられないが。
朝食は、朝食時間の真ん中くらいに行ったが、料理がない物が多かった。
コーヒーはいろいろな種類があり良かったが、早く終了してしまうものもあり残念。
深夜に到着すると、買い物は出来ないのでせめて水(ペットボトル)の提供があるといいなと思った。

Lo cercano a restaurantes y al único Walmart del lugar

Cons:

Para los que no manejamos en nieve, no es opción rentar auto y no tener servicio de Shuttle a otros puntos cercanos además del aeropuerto no nos gusto. De 4 mensajes que envíe por el chat de Booking solo contestaron uno, tuve que hablar por teléfono para obtener la información que necesite. Revisen el chat y contesten por favor. Entiendo que Booking es solo el medio para resevar pero así como aseguran el pago para el Hotel deberian asegurar que se responde por su chat. Saludos

Comfortable, large rooms but location could've been better
Pros:

Breakfast was good with many options. Seating area was really comfortable. Our room was very nice, big and comfy.

Cons:

The staff wasn't as friendly as in other hotels in the area. Hotel does not store luggage so we had to sit in the lobby with 4 suitcases for 3 hours waiting on our shuttle to take us to our next destination. They don't even have a tv in the lobby area. We walked half a mile to WalMart and had to cross a 6 lane highway.
I paid ahead for a king room with a balcony but we did not have a balcony.

Cons:

Since it’s in Alaska and a lot of people are not used to the cold, a nice robe in the room would’ve been nice
