Have stayed before, returned because of past visits.
Under construction, elevator broken, no hot breakfast as advertised. First floor wreaked of marijuana like a Cheech & Chong movie. We are near our 70's and had to tote 3 flights. Had no one present at front desk at arrival. Hardly at all during stay. Sign on desk, call if you need help. Also no shower curtain in room.
Waffle was good.
Location easy to get to
Smelled like mold and would have been better to sleep in the vehicle because of the smell breakfast was horrible
Desk lady (Leo) super nice!! Renovations almost completed. Excellent that they let the employees have the holiday off (minimum staff)!
Bring your mold and mildew spray, but it won't work. The staff is fine but the quality of the property is horrible. The mildew on the window of our room was so bad, we couldn't see outside. The elevator was dirty and slow. The bellman carts were old and dirty. The room and hallways smelled of mold and mildew. Because of the poor air quality, it was hard to relax and sleep. We just wanted to get out of the room and shower. The pool tile is covered in mildew. We had to sign a waiver that any car break ins were not the responsibility of the hotel. There is also an early check in fee if you check in prior to 3pm. Lastly, the smoke alarm went off around 7pm and startled us. disappointed that La Quinta or Wyndham would brand this place
Staff was amazing and it was very clean. Will definitely stay there again.
Only things was the laundry room wasn't usable and a few of the workout equipment was unusable.
Missy in the breakfast area. She was so friendly, and assisted with a family that needed help with children. She was constantly cleaning, took a few minutes to ask several about our stay.
Breakfast’s pretty lean.
Die Einrichtung war prima, das Personal nett und um uns bemüht. Die Lage war für uns ideal.
I arrived as a solo for a Friday night, then relocated to another room for a week when my two co-workers arrived.
Positives -
*Hot water in the shower, great towels, fairly comfortable bed.
*The breakfast service was very good; first hotel I have been in that the scrambled eggs were not sitting in liquid.
*The young man who handled the breakfast room was excellent. He really was attentive to setting the breakfast items up and keeping the room clean and tidy.
*Free parking.
*If you don't run the a/c, the hotel is very quiet.
**The best thing this hotel has going for it is the staff, especially as they dealt with maintenance issues. Despite the property being terribly run down, they really tried to put on a positive face and made an effort to please the guests. However, I could see the frustration in their eyes. They are overworked and understaffed. Many of the staff are new. They are really trying to turn this hotel around.
I would like to commend Leo, Charles, Christine, Deserey (sp, I am sorry), the new maintenance person, and the young man who handled the breakfast room. A special thank you to Charles and Christine who were able to get me out of the stuck elevator.
The list of negatives is long, so much needs to be done. The hotel needs a complete renovation, including the elevator.
I was trapped in the elevator for fifteen minutes, necessitating a call to 911 (had to use the emergency button on my phone as there was no service in the elevator to call the desk, and no one was responding to the alarm). Two days later, when checking out, the elevator was not working.
Wyndham, please help out your employees. You have some very dedicated employees who are giving their best. But they can only do so much with what they have to work with.
Nothing in particular
Staff not the best.
Nice place to stay. Clean. Friendly staff.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, room was clean
Pool was closed and wasnt posted on website, hair on the floor in elevator, lack of vending machines, woke up to the smell of pesticide in the morning and shower curtain was not long enough so water got all over the floor when showering and was only one roll of toilet paper for 3 people
Breakfast was basic hotel fare....not great but not terrible.
They are putting in spectrum but did not note the construction in the rooms....had a note saying "someone may enter your room for renovations".....no, just no. The young lady that checked us in was on her phone and had "company" in the hotel. Not rude, but not welcoming. We have always loved staying here due to the convenient location to our children....it will be my first time I was disappointed at this location.
