Pros:

Fantastic location in a safe part of the city. Just a short walk to the fountain of Cibeles where there are good bars and restaurants.

Cons:

This is an older building so you would expect to see ants here and there. The city is on a moving tectonic plate so we felt light shaking in the morning.

Very clean hotel with professional staff. Comfy bed.

Cons:

An extremely busy central road in Mexico City with a full glass window. Curtains drawn if you don't want to be exhibitionis! In fact I just happened to be getting dressed when a window cleaner on a harness swung past the window. If you cross over the main road towards Condesa it's immediately a quieter area with a more relaxed vibe.
