The Dewa Koh Chang

An architecturally stunning hotel, surrounded by lush greenery. The pool is very large and spacious. The beach is beautiful, the sea is calm. The beach is always very quiet. The hotel breakfast was a highlight. Absolutely everything you could think of!! Salads, cheese, fresh fruits, hot dishes, egg station, breads, pastries and dim sum. All presented beautifully and super fresh. One improvement I would make would be the coffee. An automatic machine, average coffee. I was also really looking forward to going to their beautiful cafe. The decor was gorgeous, but the lady didn’t know how to make barista quality coffee, so I only went once. The location was great. Half an hour from the ferry. Walk out the hotel and there are shops and restaurants 5 mins away and a half an hour walk to Kai Bae, where there are shops, restaurants, cafes and massage salons. I think the arrival process could also be improved, we sat at reception and had lots of paperwork to sign, which was a bit overwhelming after a long journey. It would have been better to have been greeted on the comfy chairs, with a cold tropical drink and a cold towel, with less paperwork. Yes I would recommend this gorgeous hotel.

While The Dewa Koh Chang excels in its beachfront location and striking architectural decor, our actual experience did not live up to what we expected. We paid a premium price to stay here during the low season, so we expected seamless service and pristine conditions. Instead, a severe lack of housekeeping oversight and poor organization dragged our stay down to a disappointing 3-star experience.

To start, our check-in process was poorly managed. We were assured by the staff that our room would be ready for us, but it was not. We were left waiting for roughly 30 minutes just for the front desk to finalize everything and get us into the room.

The most unacceptable part of the stay was the cleanliness. Even though the room had supposedly been checked and cleared for arrival, the bathtub had a repulsive smell of urine. Furthermore, opening the interior cabinets revealed a strong, distinct odor of pests.

For the premium rates this hotel charges—even during the off-peak season—basic hygiene and immediate room readiness should be a given. Management needs to address these severe housekeeping failures immediately.

Every thing was amazing and nice

Waanzinnig vriendelijk personeel, spreken allemaal heel goed Engels, het ontbijt super groot en heel veel keuze zelfs het egg station met 9 verschillende bereidingen die ze voor de gasten maken, het zwembad zeer zeer groot met een pool bar met 2 happy hours, een connectie met het strand met bar en restaurant. Een topper.!

Prachtig resort met super vriendelijk personeel iedereen lacht en wil je goed van dienst zijn van schoonmaker tot manager

Стильный отельчик небольшой, мне очень нравятся номера. Жила в Вилле и гранд вилле. Есть хороший балкон, внутренний дворик с фортаном, прудиком и рыбками. Очень приятное постельное белье, халаты.
Все довольно новое, чистое. Не понимаю кто пишет про уставшие номера, у меня все три раза было все свежее и особо не к чему придраться. Приятные завтраки, отдельное спасибо за хороший кофе.
На пляже достаточно шезлонгов, есть густая хорошая тень.
Убирают номера хорошо. Персонал вежливый, все что просишь делается быстро.
Неплохой массаж.

Great experience at the Dewa!

Lage ist top, schöner Strand und sowohl am Strand aber auch 5 min zur Strasse gibt es Shops und Restaurants. Roller kann in Hotel einfach gemietet werden. Frühstück ist top. Hotel ist ruhig und gepflegt. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Un commentaire ne suffirait pas pour décrire l’expérience vécue, une chambre de princesse, je n’ai rarement vu une chambre comme ça c’était magique, je recommande !

Überragendes Luxus Resort direkt am Strand. Der Pool ist einfach nur perfekt, die Zimmer sehr modern, aber trotzdem authentisch und stilvoll eingerichtet. Zudem ist die Lage auf Koh Chang super, um die Insel zu erkunden. Abends sind Restaurants auch fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war auch absolut super. Absolute Empfehlung, vor allem, um einfach zu relaxen. Qualitativ ist alles sehr hochwertig. Am Strand gibt es die vielleicht schönsten Sonnenuntergänge in Thailand.
