Central to what we wanted
What an amazing hotel in a great location. The only draw back (and it’s not to bad) is the size of the hotel. There is not much room outside of the bed which takes up most of the room. With that being said I would still stay here upon my return. Staff was amazing and like I said location was a great spot for food and train station The price was great too
Good cheap place
Location was perfect. Room was small but hey, it's Japan. (-: We had everything we needed and the light robes (yukata?) were a nice touch. Recommended.
By the way, if you're bringing large, heavy suitcases from Ueno Station on a hot day, you don't need to climb the stairs of the pedestrian overpass. There _is_ a crosswalk a block or two south.
The hotel was very close to Ueno Station. It had a homely feeling. The staff was so wonderful and made us feel at home. Thank you.

A small, clean, budget, Tokyo Ueno hotel. They only real issue for people might be the height of the door ways which seems like it would be a issue for people over say 6’.

First time traveling out of the country and this hotel made everything a breeze! Centrally located near Ueno station, you have access to any and everything you could imagine. Food options are plentiful and delicious. 7/11 right around the corner and they even partner with a massage service is you need a day of relaxation. Will be back, hopefully very soon!
