Authentic Japanese.
Pros:

Our room type with only mattresses on the floor (no normal beds) was good for a family with two kids. The breakfast was tasty. Big portions with many items and felt very Japanese. The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Some corridor carpets smelled cigarette smoke, but it didn´t smell smoke in our room. The bathroom was pretty small, but I guess that is common in Tokyo. Our room was pretty big, but there were not many shelves to put things "out of reach" for our small children.
