This hotel is located in Istanbul's most historic neighborhood on a quiet street. The breakfast room is very special: it has been constructed around some ancient ruins and exudes great charm. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

I’ve stayed here twice, both times in a seaview room. The room was exceptionally clean and was cleaned everyday. The balcony over looked the sea which was lovely at night. There was a good choice for breakfast and the protected Roman ruins inside the breakfast room were fascinating.
I had a problem with wifi connection a couple of times but they fixed the problem within minutes.
Reception staff were super helpful and friendly as were the cleaners.
The hotel throughout was very clean and tastefully decorated.
Situated on a side road off the main thoroughfare everything was accessible within minutes. No noise disturbance.
I high recommend this hotel and i will return.
Every floor is accessible by a lift.

We stayed at Acra Hotel and really appreciated its excellent location — it’s just a short walk to major sights like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace. It made exploring Istanbul very convenient! However, the Wi-Fi connection was quite poor, so we were glad we had eSIMs with data. We also experienced daily issues with the air conditioning showing error messages. Despite these inconveniences, our overall stay was okay, mainly because the location made everything so accessible.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very underwhelming, and it was probably the saddest thing about the hotel. The photo of the breakfast on the Expedia website is very misleading and was nothing like that at all.

We were initially given a room that had a very smelly bathroom; something wrong with the sewage system I think as the smell was coming out of the drain in the bathroom sink. We reported this to reception who apparently knew about the problem already, but still gave us the room?? We had the room changed the next day.

This time, the bathroom in the new room was cleaner and not smelly, however there were ants on the floor lol.

In summary, I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again and I am hesistant to recommend this to anyone for their stay in Istanbul.

Highly recommend! Beautiful, comfortable, and quiet hotel near historic city center! Front desk staff Regep was super helpful booking tickets and taxis. We loved being able to pass by Hagia Sofia & Blue Mosque on our daily walks to the metro, and enjoyed frequent visits to our fav shops in Spice Bazaar nearby. Breakfast was abundant, but a little repetitive, in a beautiful breakfast hall with paintings & archeology of old city. We had a gorgeous window overlooking the sunrise on the Bosphorus water channel.

The pictures are misleading. There is no rooftop or actual view of the water. The lobby and rooms are not very clean and the breakfast buffet is very poor. If I would have to do it again, I would select another location and come here just to visit the Blue Mosque and churches.

The room they gave us in the basement which they did not inform us beforehand, there was a rooftops showed at the advert , actually it is a misrepresentation of facts, there was no rooftop to sit with.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We had only a brief overnight stay, checking in late and leaving early, so I can’t speak much to the facilities. But when we checked in at 2am, they were so friendly and quick. When we checked out, we scheduled their driver services to get to the airport, and learned they only take cash that morning! The person working the front desk told us where the nearest atm was in clear directions, and was so kind about the whole thing. He also served us Turkish coffee when we came back and were waiting for the car. Just great staff! Would stay there again if I make my way back :) also, on the way to the atm, we saw many highlights we were hoping to see in the morning, so definitely recommend the location!!!

The hotel is conveniently located in the Sultanahmed area so we walked to the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, etc. Good breakfast and the staff was nice.

The room we stayed 105. Large room for 4 people. Located good. I had some issues like i went toilet and lock from inside and bow wli cant opened lock. Lucky my family was presented at that time they called reception. i waited about 20 munites inside locked toilet. Engineer came and changed the lock.
Over its good. Customer service good.
