Good but staff not the most accomodating
Pros:

Basic, clean and comfortable stay with everything we needed, spacious living space & handy to have laundry facility.

Cons:

Disappointing interaction with reception when trying to extend our stay by 1 night. Bluntly informed not possible to extend in same room due to the booking they had, we were pretty relaxed and were happy to move rooms and be flexible but bluntly informed only option is to do a new booking with a minimum 2 night stay. Receptionist was very unhelpful, inflexible and made the place feel like it was a business lacking any personal feel. It seems illogical to have a room vacant when you could have 2 people in one for an extra night who are already staying here - might be something to think about for the future. Disappointing end to a comfortable stay.

Pros:

We were upgraded to a 1 bed apartment. Friendly staff

Cons:

The stairs were a bit of an issue for my husband, but we never thought to tell them prior to our stay

good stay, room layout was good bed was firm and clean, nice layout.
Pros:

Firm bed, good shower, nice layout with kitchenette and TV.

Great apartment in the heart of port Douglas
Pros:

Great location in port Douglas, easy access to the town. On site parking. Pool open til 10pm so great for an evening dip. Apartment was spacious with a well equipped kitchen, very comfy bed, and big bathroom. Check in process was quick and efficient and the staff were lovely and very helpful.

Great value for a top location
Pros:

Great location walkable to everywhere

Cons:

We travelled in the rainy season so a lot of businesses were closed or left town
Also this is the time a lot of them try to do maintenance projects

Pros:

Property is dated! No clean towels have to wash yourself. Used machines and had to re wash clothes as awful smell in clothes. Wouldn’t stay again

Pros:

Bay Villas was perfect, walking distance to the main street and a pool right below our room.
Our room was clean and comfortable, with an aircon (needed in this climate) and a little kitchenet. The bathroom was clean and functional, and overall it was a great spot to stay.
