Pros:

Bay Villas was perfect, walking distance to the main street and a pool right below our room.
Our room was clean and comfortable, with an aircon (needed in this climate) and a little kitchenet. The bathroom was clean and functional, and overall it was a great spot to stay.

Pros:

It was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

One female member of staff was rude and uncooperative. There was building work going on that we had not been informed of prior to arrival. She just kept saying it was on the website.... we'll it definitely was not when we'd booked several months prior. It also transpired that it was only visible when you looked for availability. We'd already booked so were no longer looking at the website, we didn't need availability.
Very poor customer care on her part. We were reimbursed for one night due to being woken up by drilling. Better communication on their part, and an apology would have gone a long way to mitigate the situation.... neither were offered. On the basis of our poor treatment by this one belligerent member of staff, with poor listening skills I would not recommend this place. Plenty of other options available in Port Douglas. Also this one is a bit of a hike into town, especially if it's hot. Puts you off going back out to town in the evening.
Very frugal with the plates and cutlery. Literally only one set per person. No dish washer so you have to keep washing up.

Staff friendly & helpful, resort clean, tidy & pleasant, pool food, bbq facilities good.
Pros:

Location good, room small, cooking facilities poor…portable electric stove top, nowhere to place it properly & no exhaust fan.
Cupboard door broken, mould in bathroom ( cleaned by staff when requested) toilet seat cracked.

I would return to your accommodation and recommend to others.
Pros:

Balcony area and the quietness and consideration of other guest for the noise levels.

Cons:

The steps. It is a long haul carting luggage up the steps. The wifi password to be included with room. I was at work meetings and was unable to connect with staff to get the wifi password. Due to the time constraints as I left each morning before Reception was opened and arrived back too late after Reception closed.
