The property is quite dated but has everything you need.
Our stay at Soverign Hill.Hotel was conveniently located to Soverign Hill. We attended the Aura night show which was at our door in having direct access and after the show was dropped back at the gate to hotel. Clean, tidy room.
The soap dispenser at basin wasnt reachable by children to wash hands.
Proximity to museum, size of second room & Kim on reception was fantastic.
Rooms in desperate need of refurbishment, not worth the money they charge. Was told by two families not to have the buffet breakfast as it was absolute rubbish given $35 for adults & $15 for kids. First room, not the room we booked & aircon didn’t work, tiny a/c unit had to be 15+ years old, discoloured & full of dust. Wouldn’t stay on more than 10 seconds before turning off. Second room was room we originally booked but had no soap in those silly shower wall dispensers. Shower curtains were at least a foot higher than floor so all the bathroom floor was soaked in water during shower. So much dust under beds & large cracks in the walls. So many health & safety hazards especially for kids/elderly. Putrid stains on room chairs, dirty carpet. Raised decking nails on deck to name one, see images for others. No outside table/chairs. Still can’t understand why during daylight saving the museum closes at 5pm & guests of hotel have to leave. Once on hotel grounds with so much space there are no outdoor/umbrella settings for guests to chill & relax? Only offering are 4 old, broken, rusty & decrepit benches next to other people’s rooms.
Good clean room in a great location.
Initially booked with breakfast option but then told only "breakfast box" was available.
It was quiet, comfortable & clean
such a great place to stay when seeing Sovereign Hill
nothing I can think of.
Good Parking
Overpriced when red hot summer was on. Price gouging will not return for that reason alone.
Staffs are friendly
Over charged..
A/c was not function..
Great hotel when you feel that you are a part of the museum, while having the creature comforts. High ceilings, comfortable beds, a/c to keep you comfortable. You can get a breakfast, or walk to a nearby cafe.
Happy with things as they are
Location
