Amazing relaxing stay

Wonderful place to visit, great location, walking distance to multiple pubs/restaurants. Will definitely be back.

Pros:

The location is definitely the strongest point of this property. It is very close to the beach and the marina, and within easy walking distance to the main street. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby, which makes dining and getting around very convenient.

Cons:

The apartment itself is quite dated, and the facilities feel old. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, which made it uncomfortable, especially after showering.

Before our stay, the hotel emphasized strict noise control and a no-party policy, stating that they reserve the right to end a guest’s stay if the policy is not followed. However, in reality, the sound insulation was very poor. The rooms are extremely close to each other, and the balconies are not fully sealed — there are visible gaps where you can even see into neighbouring balconies.

As a result, we were disturbed by neighbouring guests who started talking loudly on their balcony from around 7am and continued again in the evening. This significantly affected our sleep quality, despite the hotel’s stated noise policy.

In addition, the neighbours were smoking on their balcony. I am not sure whether this is permitted, as our room clearly indicated that it is a non-smoking property. The smoke easily travelled into our room through the balcony gaps, which was very unpleasant.

Overall, the experience did not match the hotel’s description or expectations set by their stated policies.

Great location for short stay visiting the island
Pros:

Great location on esplanade and across from beach. Spacious rooms - spa was nice. Very clean.

Cons:

For an apartment next to beach- missing drying rack for hanging out beach towels, beach wear. And missing washing machine- would be super handy considering it’s an apartment with kitchenette. Shower was super tight space with none adjustable shower head. Extra set of keys would be handy too (only given 1 set). Check out was 10am, we got a call less than 15 mins past check out time asking when was the key dropped off!? Should at least allow 30 mins grace at least? Most hotels allow at least up to an 1 hour grace.
